PARKERSBURG — Two individuals were taken by ambulance to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash at Ohio and Emerson avenues around 6 p.m. Sunday, according to a dispatcher with the Wood County 911 Center.

The call for the accident was made at 6:14 p.m. with the Parkersburg Police, a Wood County sheriff’s deputy and the Parkersburg Fire Department arriving at the scene as well as an ambulance from WVU Medicine Camden Clark.

According to the dispatcher, the accident was cleared within the hour and the status of the two individuals remains unreported as of Sunday evening. Additional information was not immediately available.
