PARKERSBURG — The following cases were released by Wood County Magistrate Court on Nov. 26:
* Cheyenne Nathasha Nickole Kirl, 110 Spruce St., Elizabeth, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Cody Ray Slaughter, 4114 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fleeing from law enforcement, possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $352.96 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. Charges of obstruction with threats of harm and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Brenda Lou Dailey, 633 Deems Ford Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to trespassing and fined $186.48.
* Samuel Cole Stewart, 661 E. Maple St., Davisville, had a charge of first-offense child neglect by a parent, guardian, custodian or a person in a position of trust that creates substantial risk of bodily injury was dismissed without prejudice after the defendant cooperated with investigators.
* Jason Eugene Wigal, 912 Hillcrest St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to violating a protective order, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation with a credit of five days for time served. Another charge of violating a protective order was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Jerry Thomas Nickels, 1016 Cornwall St., Apt. 5, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $95.76 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* James Patrick Bruce Sr., 1005 Lynn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing and fined $186.48.
* Michael Paul Hollingsworth, 91 South Bass Lane, Vincent, had charges of driving on a suspended license for DUI, speeding and failure to maintain motor vehicle insurance dismissed because the defendant is deceased.
* Wyatt James Smith, 2734 Third St., Coolville, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Ann Street in Parkersburg.
* Kristopher McKai Hogue, 41 Lexington Park Dr., Vienna, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm, fined $186.48 and sentenced to six hours in jail which was ruled as time served. A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Timothy Brian Honaker, 1010 18th St., Vienna, had a charge of violating a protective order dismissed as there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
* Jason Alan Delancey, 404 West Eighth St., Williamstown, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of transporting alcohol, implements of escape, dangerous material, weapons or drugs into a correctional facility. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Hunter Levi-Marshall Prall, 1510 Cale St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of strangulation. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Cody Joseph Metrick, 863 Davisville Road, Davisville, was arraigned on three counts of obtaining property by false pretense and released on a $5,000 surety bond.
* Jason Lee Southhall, 1215½ 23rd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no registration, third-offense driving on a suspended license and having no proof of insurance and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.
* Britta E. Corner, 612 Seville Court, Ligonier, Ind., pleaded guilty to failure to yield to an emergency vehicle while it was displaying flashing lights and fined $226.48. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed.
* Denimiah James Glover, 1008 Cedar Grove Road, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to shooting within 500 feet of a restricted structure and fined $226.48.
* Shay Christopher Tenney, 514 Americas Way, Box Elder, South Dakota, pleaded no contest to a charge of violating vehicle law on an access site and fined $196.48.
