CHARLESTON – Christian Gale Biles, 21, of Vienna pleaded guilty Thursday to a federal charge of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

As part of his guilty plea, Biles admitted that he knew a package delivered to his residence by the U.S. Postal Service in March 2024 contained methamphetamine in advance of his receiving it, and he intended to distribute the contents to another individual, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia.

Biles is scheduled to be sentenced June 4 and faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, at least three years of supervised release and a fine of up to $1 million.

U.S. Attorney Moore Capito made the announcement and commended the investigative work of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the Parkersburg Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force.

U.S. District Judge Irene C. Berger presided over the hearing and Assistant U.S. Attorney D. Keith Randolph prosecuted.

Starting at $2.99/week.
