PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Board of Education is expected to get an update about the Parkersburg High School visitor side bleachers and Building 413 projects by Ryan Taylor, CEO of Pickering Associates tonight during its regular meeting.

Superintendent Christie Willis said the Building 413 project will allow concession sales to visitors after years of not operating.

Lawrence reported to the board during its Feb. 10 meeting that Lubeck has $150,000 in contract contingency and $75,000 for material escalation. He said the School Building Authority requires a 2% contingency on the bid award and that to date: $7,285 has been used for an abandoned well found under the driveway during demo. He said contingency and allowances for Lincoln include:

* $150,000 contract contingency

* $50,000 material escalation

* $150,000 soil import allowance

* $40,000 window coverings allowance

* Materials escalation used to date: $1,350, due to metal roll-up doors increasing in price.

Jonathan Farley, director of information technology, will give a proposal for reorganizing the Information Technology Department.
