PARKERSBURG — The following cases were released by Wood County Magistrate Court on Nov. 24:

* Casey Tyler Lang, 1461 Montgomery Hill Road, Walker, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and held on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Charles Ray Buck III, 1422 19th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription (meth) and held on a $1,000 surety bond. He was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County, Ohio, on a charge of failure to appear and held until bond was set in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Tyanna Nicole Martin, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and held on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Justin Michael McPherson, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating a bond condition (domestic violence) and held on a $2,000 surety bond,

* Jonathan James Rager, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Steven Alan McKinney, 407 Fream St. Pennsboro, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense driving while impaired and released on $15,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Sarah Beth Wright, 616 33rd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of transporting a controlled substance into a correctional facility and held on a $15,000 surety bond. She was also arraigned on charges of second-offense shoplifting, obstruction (capias), pedestrian in the roadway (capias) and public intoxication (capias) and held on a $1,200 cash and surety bond.

* Sean Michael Adkins, 825 Seventh St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and held on a $5,000 cash/surety bond.

* Holly Nichole Neader, 836 Fourth St., Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of second offense shoplifting , less than $500, and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Casey Tyler Lang, no address available, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Noble County in Ohio on a charge of failure to appear and held until bond was set in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Tony L. Russell, 904 Swann St. Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a seat belt violation and fined $25.

* Michael Andrew Athey, 514 Gale Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.

* Brian Travis Parsons, 2828 Evansview Road, Evans, had a charge of speeding in a construction zone (74 mph in a 55 mph) dismissed following a successful deferred sentence agreement. A charge of a cell phone violation was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Misty Ann Workman, 839 Hanna Dr., South Charleston, had a charge of breaking and entering dismissed after the state had been directed to indict.

* Jason Lee Caplinger, 811 Wood St., Parkersburg, had charges of disorderly conduct obstruction with threats of harm, failure to process and trespassing dismissed.

* Eric Daniel Whitlatch, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Adam Terrell Leek, 2612 10th Ave., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for charges of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth and manufacture, delivery or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I, II or III controlled substance. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Jessica Renee Collins, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and was released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Cassandra Kay Carpenter, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic assault and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Robert Levi Horton, 3001 City View Dr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense driving on a suspended license and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Travis Johnathon Suttle, 1319 Blennerhassett Ave., Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of driving impaired with a BAC of less than .15 and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Gideon Guy Powell, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County, Ohio, on a charge of a probation violation with Powell originally being charged with permitting drug abuse, making terroristic threats and the sale of dangerous drugs and held until bond was set in Wood County Circuit Court.
