PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Commission made a number of appointments to local boards during its regular meeting Thursday.

The commission approved the appointment of Alyssa Mennillo to the Wood County Historic Landmarks Commission.

They also appointed George Chandler and Sean Andrews to the Wood County Civil Service Commission for Deputy Sheriffs.

The commission approved the nominations of Charles Pickering, Mike Miller, Kelsey

Doolittle, Rick Koher, Steve Scholl, Jane Wise, Blaine Auville, Gwen Crum, Ronald Utt, Jeremy Bell, Jason Matthews, Mike Kesterson, Mike Shook and Derek Wilson to the Wood County Local Emergency Planning Committee.

The commission is expected to give the final approval next week.
