VIENNA — A Vienna man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a methamphetamine distribution investigation, the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force announced.
Agents of the task force and the Vienna Police Department executed a search warrant at 1010 38th St., Vienna, around 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The warrant stemmed from an investigation surrounding 48-year-old Jeremy Nolan, who lives at the address, according to a release from the task force.
Vienna’s S.W.A.T. Team made entry into the residence, where Nolan was found, along with more than 80 grams of meth, a large amount of Xanax, marijuana, a handgun and a large amount of U.S. currency, the release said.
Nolan was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance — meth, Xanax and marijuana — with intent to deliver, the release said. He was arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court and held on a $150,000 bond.
The Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force consists of officers with the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, West Virginia State Police and Parkersburg and Vienna Police departments.
