PARKERSBURG – Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Oct. 23:

* Zacary Tyler Winans, 500 13th St., Apt. 35, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Harold Eugene Burdette II, 218 Chesterville Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a speeding charge and released on $500 bond.

* David Bryan Shuman, 1006 Swann St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of attempt to commit a felony (burglary). Bond was set at $5,000.

* Michael S. Brookover, 1610 19th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of improper registration and driving under suspension and released on $500 bond.

* Kenneth Eugene Caplinger, 2506 Core Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a violation of a protective order charge and released on $500 bond.

* Kevin Ray Cook, 1909 McKinley Ave., St. Albans, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, assessed $186.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail suspended for six months unsupervised probation. A driving under suspension charge was dismissed under a plea agreement.

* Anthony Hassan Cherry, 1314 Spring St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of burglary and malicious assault.
