PARKERSBURG — The following cases were released by Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 21:

* George Nicholas Parsons, 1306 Laird Ave., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of fleeing from a law enforcement officer in a vehicle causing bodily injury and third-offense driving under the influence.

* Michael Scott Welch II, 1107 29th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of conspiracy to commit a felony. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* John Mark Muertter, 7639 Pike St., Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to speeding in a construction zone (74 mph in a 55 mph zone) and fined $226.48.

* Joseph Scott Radcliff, 400 Park Ave., Williamstown, was arraigned on a charge of inhaling intoxicants and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Richard Waitman Stevens, 4904 Walker Road, Walker, was arraigned on a charge of having an expired motor vehicle inspection sticker and released on a $250 personal recognizance bond.

* Zackery Hart McDonald, 800 29th St., Vienna, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl) with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) with intent to deliver. Bond was set at $100,000 surety.

* Kenneth Ray Sasser Jr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Faith Sherie Cannon, Waverly, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Darryl D. Davis, 508 14th Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of driving on a suspended license and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Jason James Smith, 4422 14th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having improper registration and improper display of registration and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Ambreia N. Griffith, 3229 Meadowview Drive, Apt. B, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed after proof was provided to the court.

* Hunter Riley Thomas, 18 Mitchells Way, Washington, W.Va., pleaded no contest to trespassing livestock penalties and fined $226.48.

* Alexxis Rae Matherly, 2702 Hugh St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.

* Aidan Thomas Azinger, 30 Campbell Drive, Apt. 12, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $191.48.

* Preston M. Hornbeck, 1206 28th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a seat belt violation and fined $25.

* Edwin B. Green, 921 Boggy Hollow Road, Coolville, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were released by Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 22:

* Taylor Nash Burge, 274830 State Route 7, Marietta, had a preliminary hearing waived for five counts of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or methamphetamine. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Philip Ray, 405 13th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* David Justin Kerns, 5800 Walker Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, fined $351.48 and was sentenced to 14 hours in jail which was ruled as time served.

* Jordan Thomas Trifiletti, 868 Schott Road, Waterford, had a charge of driving on a suspended license dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Christina Mae Richard, 1005 Olive St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended for six months of unsupervised probation with a credit of one day for time served. A charge of third-offense driving on a revoked license was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Kay’viona Monay Robinson,Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fraudulent schemes, fined $456.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, suspended for one year of unsupervised probation with a credit of one day for time served. She was also arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $500 bond.

* James Carl Hutson, 1004 27th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and fined $211.48.

* Jessica Nicole Howard, 904 Smithfield St., Parkersburg, had a charge of embezzlement dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Sarah Jean Inman, 70 East Wildwood Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding in a school zone (29 mph in a 15 mph zone) and fined $276.48.

* Zeinoun Ghassan Haddad, 860 Cedar Grove Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding in a school zone and fined $279.48.

* Matthew Russell Stewart, 35 Mike Lane, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and fined $201.48.

* David Paul Dailey, 1220 16th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, fined $376.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail, suspended for six months of unsupervised probation.

* Keigan A. Mattern, 277 Pahlhurst Plaza, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $181.48.

* Bryan Anthony Merritt, 1780 Copperhead Road, Waverly, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and having no proof of insurance and fined $652.96. A charge of having no vehicle registration was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Derek Robert Chrisman, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense domestic assault. Bond was set at $25,000 surety.

* Julio Cobo Sanchez, 59 Hickory St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving while impaired with a BAC of greater than 0.15 and held on a $2,500 cash/personal recognizance bond.

* Haley Lynn Pethtel, 1997 Old River Road, Williamstown, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Andrew Cole Pratt, 1708 15th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of fishing without a license and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Rebecca Lynn Lewis, 113 Lucille Lane, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Matthew Wayne Lewis, 113 Lucille Lane, Washington, was arraigned on three counts of failure to register as a sex offender and released on a $6,000 surety bond.

* Angela Renee Burke, 436 Walker Lane, Washington, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $191.48.

* Scott Allen Hamilton, P.O. Box 404, Pratt, W.Va., pleaded no contest for speeding and fined $186.48.
