PARKERSBURG — The following cases were released by Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 2:
* Larry Robert Koehler, 703 ½ Locust St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to keeping a residence for the use of a controlled substances, fined $186.48 and sentenced to nine months in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation with a credit of 75 days for time served.
* Joelyn M. McGary, 2206 26th Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed following a successful deferred sentence agreement. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Ronald Jesse Lester Jr., pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended. A charge of obstruction with threats of harm was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Amber Nichole Mackey, 3516 Winding Road, Waverly, pleaded guilty to having no operator’s license and fined $186.48. A charge of improper registration was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Scott Edward Barker, 93 River Road, Davisville, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license (warrant) and littering from a motor vehicle and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Kevin Lee Wilson, 251Belleville Dr., Belleville, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and possession of a controlled substance and held on a $2,000 surety bond.
* John Curtis Hendershot, 500 13th St. Apt. 311, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of hit and run (damage), having no insurance, reckless driving and failure to maintain control and released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Mindy Michelle Omear, 612 Putnam St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of assaulting a police officer and held on a $500 surety bond.
* Joshua David Stanley, 708 Neal St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of strangulation and held on a $100,000 surety bond.
* Alicia Dawn Brannon, 940 Turkey Foot Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of obstruction and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* James Dewayne Grubb, 2305 Ivy Lane NE, Lancaster, was arraigned on charges of failure to keep left and having no proof of insurance and released on a $100 personal recognizance bond.
* Kristopher McKai Hogue, 41 Lexington Pack Dr., Vienna, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and disorderly conduct and released on $3,500 surety bond.
* Daniel Jay Beiler, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to public intoxication and fined $181.48.
* Brett Michael McClain, 4230 North Torch Road, Coolville, pleaded guilty to having no seatbelt and fined $25. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed,
* Tyler J. Bruer, 16338 Boy Scout Camp Road, Caldwell, pleaded guilty to speeding on an open country highway and fined $186.48.
* Hunter Riley Thomas, 18 Mitchells Way, Washington, W.Va., pleaded no contest to livestock trespass and fined $226.48.
* Shania Rachael George, 438 Victoria Ave., Williamstown, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.
* Issiah Edward Sayre, 12631 State Route 676, Waterford, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.
* Issiah David Thomas, PO Box 343, Little Hocking, pleaded guilty to reckless driving, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days of home confinement which will be served in Washington County, Ohio.
* Mark Eugene Dearman, 85 Willard Road, Parkersburg, had a charge of petit larceny dismissed after no video evidence was obtained.
* David James Alltop, 716 Bird St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to violation of a domestic protective order and fined $466.48.
* Jerry D. Lawson, 30958 Durst Ridge Road, Portland, Ohio, pleaded guilty to having improper registration and fined $181.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Steven Jacob Patterson, 215 Chapman Ave. Apt. D, Spencer, pleaded guilty to failure to report an accident, failure to maintain vehicle insurance and leaving the scene of an accident and fined $744.44. Charges of operating a vehicle without evidence and operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Kenneth William Brinklow, 2316 Highland Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to interfering with officers by providing false information and making a false statement and fined $437.96. Charges of providing false information and interfering with officers by providing false information and making a false statement (two counts) were dismissed.
* Thomas Marion Conner, 48 Dutch Ridge Terrace Apt. 134, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to striking an unattended vehicle and fined $181.48.
* Nicholas Dane Rhodes, 13 Jones St., Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to underaged consumption and fined $201.48.
* Joseph David Casto, 700 24th St., Parkersburg, had charges of driving on a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance (two counts) dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.
* Brian Rusell Mincks, 750 Ruble Ave., Belpre, had two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.
* Candy Rochelle Bentz, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $276.48. She was ordered to pay a $240.10 civil penalty to Sheetz. She had charges of possession of a controlled substance, failure to process, obstruction with threats of harm and shoplifting dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Jonathan Adam Mercer, 115 Red Hill Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving too fast for roadway conditions and fined $181.48. He had charges of failure to have a child attend school and operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate dismissed, per a plea agreement.
