PARKERSBURG — The following cases were released by Wood County Magistrate Court on Sept. 30:
* Amber Dawn Powell, 509 Ward Place, Parkersburg, had charges of trespassing and shoplifting dismissed as the defendant is deceased.
* John Jason Leigh Cline, 11 Fox Hill Terrace, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fleeing from law enforcement and second-offense shoplifting, fined $452.96 and sentenced to 30 days in jail with a credit of six days for time served. He was ordered to pay a $861.96 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.
* Philip J. Wilson Jr., 1992 Lake Washington Road, Washington, had a charge of having no insurance dismissed after obtaining it and presenting the proof to the court.
* Justin Allen Posey, 42 Meadowbrook Acres, Parkersburg, had a charge of obstructing NRPO dismissed with prejudice.
* Emily Dianne Mowery, 1209 Williams St., Parkersburg, had charges of driving on a suspended license for DUI and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed as the state will recharge with the correct offense.
* Timothy David McMahon, 713 Myrtle St., Parkersburg, had a charge of battery dismissed without prejudice.
* William Joseph Bills, 601 West Eighth St., Williamstown, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to nine days in jail which was ruled as time served. He was ordered to pay a $235.72 civil penalty to Walmart in Vienna.
* Pamela Lou Leak, 64 Diamond Drive, Davisville, had a charge of shoplifting dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.
* Kira Rylee Mace, 92 Cummings St., Washington, had a charge of speeding dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.
* Dakota Ski Acores, 2007 Gandee Court, Belpre, had a charge of breaking and entering transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Clifford Goans Batten, #3 Shell Circle, Belpre, had a charge of breaking and entering transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Michaelle Lynn Helminski-Meeks, 800 34th St., Vienna, had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of forgery and uttering. The case was sent to the Wood County Circuit Court.
* Gary Wayne Paris Jr., 67 Friar Tuck Road, Belleville, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of breaking and entering. The case was transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Wesley Leonard Jacob Anderson, 1349 Avery St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of third-offense shoplifting, driving on a suspended license and having no insurance and held on a $10,500 surety and personal recognizance bonds.
* Erik Andrew Klintworth, 19360 St. Rt. 550, Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense driving on a suspended license and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Donna Sue Spencer, 1004 28th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second offense driving on a suspended license and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Michael B. Cain, 5335 Harris Highway, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on 12 counts of cruelty to animals and released on a $6,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Travis Lee Hudnall, 1101 Paint Creek Road, Hansford, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of breaking and entering and held on $25,000 surety bond.
* Raymond Leo Myers II, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $2,000 surety bond.
* Dawson David Ball, 79 Hayes St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of littering, obstruction and having an open dump and released on a $600 personal recognizance bond.
* Skyler James Longwell, 308 Dempsie Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage and having no operator’s license and fined $372.96.
* Ashley Jolene Vincent, 713 Federal Road, Little Hocking, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $196.48.
* Liliana Elaine Jessee, 1545 Willoughby Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to following too closely and fined $276.48.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were released by Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 1:
* Sheikh Abdulkaqir Hussein, 5838 Ringneck Road Charlotte, N.C., pleaded guilty to crossing the center line and fined $186.48.
* Kyle Robert Stunkard, 3158 Pike Road, Ellenboro, pleaded guilty to speeding (115 mph in a 65 mph zone and fined $376.48.
* Hunter J. Petry, 260 Mechanic St., Macksburg, Ohio, pleaded guilty to speeding on an open country highway and fined $186.48.
* Ronald Jesse Lester Jr., 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to illegal burning of solid waste and fined $276.48.
* Shanniah Cheyenne Kemp, 1334 Spring St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of child neglect creating serious risk of bodily injury and held on a $100,000 surety bond.
* Christopher Allen Streight, 221 S Sixth St., Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of third offense shoplifting and held on a $20,000 surety bond. He was also arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County on charges of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of trafficking in a fentanyl related compound.
* Valerie Aletha Jefferson, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County on a charge of tampering with evidence (two counts), aggravated menacing and criminal damaging. She was held on no bond.
* Michael James Burd, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstructing, domestic battery and shoplifting and held on a $2,500 surety bond.
* Randall Andrew Beatty, 804 Red Hill Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of second-offense driving on a suspended license for DUI and third-offense driving on a suspended license for DUI and released on a $600 personal recognizance bond.
* Bobby Allan Finley, 1301 St Auton Turnpike, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protective order and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Kiersten Michelle Walker, 11 Pickering St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving on a suspended license and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Jarrot Michael Price, 434 Happy Valley Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of DUI, having an open container and having expired registration and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.
