Parkersburg Police seek suspect in malicious wounding

PARKERSBURG – Parkersburg Police are searching for a woman accused of injuring a man with a sharp weapon during an altercation late Wednesday night.
According to a release from the department, officers responded to the 2500 block of 39th Street at approximately 11:20 p.m. Oct. 23 after a third party reported an unknown problem.
Upon arrival, officers found Douglas Tuttle, 63, of Parkersburg, who said he had been at his Rollins Street residence with a female acquaintance, identified as Noel Sullivan, 37, also of Parkersburg, when she allegedly struck him in the neck with a sharp cutting instrument.
Both individuals fled the scene following the incident, and nearby residents assisted Tuttle before police arrived.
Officers were unable to locate Sullivan at the time. A warrant has since been issued for her arrest on a charge of malicious wounding.
Sullivan is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and 160 pounds, with blue eyes and reddish-blonde hair.
