PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following cases July 15:
* Joshua H. Kerns, 1 Camelot Dr. Apt. 22, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to having a controlled substance on an access site and fined $196.48. A charge of fishing without a license was dismissed after proof was presented.
* Chance Michael Hupp, 3354 Lynn Camp Road, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $191.48.
* Everett Dale McMullen II, 410 Popular Ave., Williamstown, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and $276.48.
* Lackyn Renea McLaughlin, 950 Walker Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to failure to obey a traffic control device and fined $191.48.
* Steven Kyle Rowen, 2020 Middle Ridge Road, Waverly, pleaded guilty to having no operator’s license and fined $196.48.
* Douglas Eric Edgell, 825 Seventh St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having alcohol on an access site and obstruction/hindering officers (boating) and fined $392.96.
* Steven Nathaniel Hutson, 906 Lakeview Dr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of damage/destruction to utility property and released on a $5,000 surety bond.
* Rex Franklin Hutson Jr., 615 17th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of damage/destruction to utility property and released on a $5,000 surety bond.
* Braden Jeremiah Joe Hamilton, 1334 Spring St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of obstruction and released on a $1,500 surety bond.
* Tyler Cheyenne Peyton, 4204 Emerson Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Kylie Jean Wynn, 601 55th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to DUI, less than .150, and driving on a suspended license for DUI, fined $627.96 and sentenced to one day in jail which was ruled as time served. Wynn was also placed on six months of unsupervised probation.
* Wyatt Allen Husk, 475 Hammond Ave., Mansfield, Ohio, pleaded guilty to DUI and fined $351.48.
* Jesse Leon Kersey III, 1304 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of third-offense shoplifting. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* David Franklin Thomas, 2987 Dutch Ridge Road, Apt. 17, Parkersburg, had a charge of driving on a suspended license for DUI and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection certificate dismissed after obtaining valid driving privileges.
* William Paul Thomson, 1806 Spring St., Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance on an access site dismissed as he had a valid medical card.
* Christie A. Seevers, 136 Meadows Mobile Home Park, Parkersburg, had a charge of possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription as the warrant service was not timely.
* Joseph Trey Nicholson, 3507 Plum St., Parkersburg, had a charge of destruction of property dismissed without prejudice.
* Jackie Anne Nay, 122 Sharon St., Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to three months of home confinement. She was ordered to pay a $214.28 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.
* Dean Leroy Phillips, 108 W. Spring St., Marietta, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of transporting alcohol, an implement of escape, dangerous material, weapon or drugs into a correctional facility. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court. He also pleaded guilty to DUI drugs, fined $331.48 and sentenced to 10 days in jail.
* James Terry Lawson Jr., 629 ½ 31st St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of second offense failure to register as a sex offender. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Jason Bradley Walker, 825 Seventh St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and trespassing, fined $226.48 and sentenced to 24 hours in jail. He had a charge of obstruction with threats of harm dismissed.
* Amber Dawn Durnell, 2372 Blair Road, Coolville, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $181.48. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.
* Virginia Jenkins, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and held on a $4,000 cash bond.
* Joshua Paul Clark, 1006 30th St. Apt. 1, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of motor vehicle tampering and held on a $500 surety bond.
* Timothy Joel Dotson, 824 Lakeview Dr., Apt. 404D, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of assaulting a police officer (two counts) and obstruction and released on $10,000 surety bond.
* Dale Shannon Corder, 120 Blackberry Way, Elizabeth, was arraigned on a charge of transporting a controlled substance into a correctional facility and held on $10,000 surety bond.
* Emerson R. Woodburn, 2202 Hill St. Apt. C, Belpre, was arraigned on charges of going left of center, having no insurance, driving on a suspended license and having expired registration and released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Emily Suzanne Bailey, 701 Lakeview Dr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance and having an expired MVI sticker and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Jesse Lewis Paige, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Hamilton County, Ohio, on a parole violation.

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports July 16:
* Cody Clayton Dyer, 1905 Oak St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to first-offense shoplifting and was assessed $201.48. He was also ordered to pay a civil penalty of $60 to Regal Cinema in Vienna and not be in the establishment.
* Eric Andrew Metz, P.O. Box 217, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident, with vehicle damage, and no insurance and was assessed $652.96. A charge of operation of a vehicle without evidence of registration was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
* A preliminary hearing on two counts of malicious or unlawful assault was waived by Jacob Mathew Helmick-Williams, 510 Pike St., Parkersburg. The case was transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Bobby Lee Tincher, homeless, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstructing an officer with threats of harm. He was sentenced to 13 days in jail, with credit for 13 days served, and assessed $176.48.
* A charge of possession of a controlled substance was dismissed against Saheru Khuti Sekkem Maa William, 1751 Seventh Ave., Apt. 304, Huntington, following successful completion of a deferred sentence agreement.
* A charge of driving on a license revoked for driving under the influence was dismissed against Hanah Elizabeth Clark, care of the Central Regional Jail in Sutton, because the citation was over a year old and converted to a complaint.
* Kenneth Allen Ankrom Jr., 20 Limestone Road, St. Marys, waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of strangulation.
* A charge of overtaking and passing a school bus was dismissed without prejudice against Isaiah David Thomas, P.O. Box 343, Little Hocking.
* James Robert Kipe, 436 Marrtown Road, Parkersburg, waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of third-offense shoplifting. The case was transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Taylor Johnathon Lockhart, 16 Oak Circle, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI with a blood-alcohol content of 0.15 or more. He was sentenced to home confinement for 90 days and assessed $511.48. A charge of leaving the scene of an accident, with vehicle damage, was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
* Robert Franklin Patrick, 43185 12th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering, non-residence, and petit larceny. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail on each count, to be served concurrently, and assessed $352.96. A charge of unlawful removal, injury to or destruction of property was dismissed with prejudice.
* Tiffany Rene Jameson, 1007 Oak Grove Road, Waverly, pleaded guilty to charges of obstructing an officer with threats of harm and failure to appear and was sentenced to one year in jail on each count, suspended for two years of unsupervised probation. She was assessed $176.48. A charge of altering title, registration or plate or permit with fraudulent intent was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
* A charge of receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle was dismissed without prejudice against Megan Nicole Trefz, 397 Big Run Road, Williamstown.
* A charge of violation of a protective order was dismissed against Dustin Lyle Thompson, 610 Williams Ave., Williamstown, with treatment required.
* Bailey Nichole Sidwell, 96 Federal St., Little Hocking, pleaded guilty to one count of underage consumption and was assessed $226.48.
* Kenneth D. Ditty, 928 12th St., Canton, pleaded guilty to speeding, 88 mph in a 70 mph zone, and was assessed $181.48.
* Savannah Alexandria Piehs, 2608 26th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to distracted driving, cell phone, and was assessed $276.48.
* Jonathan David Duff, Parkersburg, was arraigned on seven counts of assault and one count each of disorderly conduct, domestic battery and public intoxication. Bond was set at $400 cash and $3,500 surety.
* David Kenneth Riel, 118 Avery St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle. Bond was set at $10,000 surety.
* Melissa Sue Covert, 5701 Seventh Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of first-offense DUI, greater than 0.15, and released on a $2,500 personal recognizance bond.
* Charles Albert McCarty, no address listed, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a fugitive from justice count out of Washington County for a receiving stolen property charge and held without bond. He was also arraigned on a charge of driving on a suspended license, for which bond was set at $500 personal recognizance.
* James Earl Bee, 1917 E. 12th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of transporting controlled substances into a jail. Bond was set at $100,000.
* Nicholas Hansel Hopper, 1017 Weekly Run Road, Ravenswood, was arraigned on charges of grand larceny and false registration. Bond was set at $25,000 surety.
* Jennifer Nicole Winter, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Michael L. Hutson, 34 Orange Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* James Patrick Owens, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of strangulation. Bond was set at $50,000.
* Ryan Janssen Chandler, 823 Fairview Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Katherine E. Southall, 609 30th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of illegal possession of wildlife, raccoon, and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Daryl Dwayne Scott Jr., 1004 Lake Run Circle, Westerville, Ohio, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance and no insurance and released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Devon Brooklyn Gilmore, 1206 Fourth St., Belpre, was arraigned on charges of expired motor vehicle inspection and expired registration and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Stormy Grace Wigal, 2599 Meadowview Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of expired registration, driving on a suspended license and no insurance and released on a $750 personal recognizance bond.
