PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on June 2:

* Walter Ray McPeek, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim does not wish to prosecute.

* Ernest Bill Vandal, 33 Aikinson Ridge Road, Walker, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of DUI causing death. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Jimmie Lee Grimes, 1030 George St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of third-offense shoplifting. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Donald Mitchel Bennett, 11552 Stucky St. SE, Paris, Ohio, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of third-offense DUI. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Torey Shae Steinbrunner, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of domestic battery. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Gary Daniel Jones, 1401 Wilbur St., St. Marys, pleaded guilty to DUI in an impaired state, fined $361.48 and sentenced to nine hours in jail. A charge of speeding was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Jasmine Monay Powell, 606 Myrtle St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction and driving on a suspended license and fined $502.96.

* Stormy Alyson Estep, 105 Olive St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to battery of government representatives, health care providers, utility workers, law enforcement or EMS, possession of a controlled substance, fined $362.96 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and Estep was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. Charges of disorderly conduct and obstruction were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Chance Edward Kelley, 2503 Beverly St. Apt. 11G, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $226.48. He was ordered to pay a $672 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.

* Danny Lee Bishop, Vienna, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, fined $276.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Kelsey Nicole Ball, 810 Grandview St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI, .15 BAC or more, fined $471.48 and placed on three days of home confinement.

* Ralph Edward Mahoney, 2502 Brooklyn Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Kevin Lee Mays, 6 Wills St., Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of driving on a revoked license for third offense DUI, a registration violation, improper registration plate display and having no insurance and released on $2,000 surety bond.

* Tiffany Rene Jameson, 84 Rollins Meadows, Elkins W.Va., was arraigned on charges of having expired registration, having no seat belts, a stop sign violation and possession of a controlled substance and released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Crystal Leann Evans, 825 7th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and held on a $2,500 surety bond.

* Charles Edward Atkinson, 913 Erie St., Parkersburg,was arraigned on charges of having expired registration and possession of a controlled substance and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* George Alan Barnhart, 928 Newbanks Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license, defective equipment, having no insurance and having improper registration and released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Cole Michael Murray, 118 Greenbrier Lane, Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of transferring/receiving a stolen vehicle and released on a $5,000 cash bond.

* Raymond Michael Adkins, 2229 16th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* David Lee Malcomb, 2345 Williamstown Pike, Williamstown, pleaded guilty to having no seat belt and no registration and fined $206.48.

* Edward L. McComas, 1533 Stewarts Run Road, Harrisville, pleaded guilty to having no seat belt and fined $206.48. He also pleaded guilty to having no motorcycle endorsement and a traffic control violation and fined $387.96.

* Franklin Pete Daniels Jr., 4204 Emerson Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding (103 mph in a 65 mph zone and fined $206.48.

* Lourdes B. Ozuna, 104 Raintree Drive, Davisville, pleaded guilty to speeding (10 mph or less in excess on highway) and fined $186.48.

* Kaden Patrick Bradley, 128 Woodridge Drive, Mineral Wells, pleaded no contest to speeding (77 mph in a 55 mph) and fined $186.48.
