PARKERSBURG -- The Wood County Sheriff's Office released the following reports.

* Between June 27-July 4, deputies responded/answered 423 calls, including: 71 Traffic Stops; 67 Speak with Complainant by phone or in person; 20 Domestic calls/Domestic Violence Protective Orders Served; 15 Traffic Crashes; four Mental Hygiene Order/Pick up/Transport; 12 Suspicious Person/Vehicle; 31 Residence/Business/Area Check; 25 Disorderly Driver/Subject; 10 Warrant Service/Warrant Attempt; 13 Intrusion Alarm; 17 Assist Motorist/Assist Agency; four Check Welfare/Check Subject; and six Animal Complaints.

June 27

* A citation was issued to Tyler James Kerns, 19, of Lake Washington, for speeding, 60 in a 35 mph zone.

* A vehicle crash occurred on Waverly Road. The deputy observed a fertilizer truck laying on its side. The driver stated no injuries and while traveling north on Waverly Road his right tires went off the pavement and into the deep ditch, this pulled the truck into the ditch line and caused the truck to tip onto its right side against the hillside. The truck had eight tons of fertilizer in it. The vehicle was towed.

* A deputy responded to Mineral Manor Way in reference to an unwanted person. The complainant(s) reported that the son was at the residence being disorderly making threats and they wished for him to leave. Central Dispatch informed the deputy that a DVPO was in place with one of the complainants being the petitioner. Kenneth Ray Sasser Jr., 39, of Mineral Manor Way, was arrested on a charge of Violation of a Domestic Violence Protective Order. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center and placed pending his arraignment.

* Deputies responded to Nicolette Road in reference to a domestic altercation in progress. Upon arrival a female was on the front steps with the deputy observing bruise/swelling near her right eye. The female stated she had been in an argument with her son. Bryce Michael Stacy, 27, of Nicolette Road, was arrested on two counts of Domestic Battery and a Capias for Failure to Appear issued out of Jackson County. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center and placed as he was unable to be issued a bond due to the Jackson County Circuit Court Capias. He was confined.

* A deputy while traveling on I-77 north observed a vehicle in the median just south of the Williamstown Exit. The deputy found that the vehicle had been in a crash with the driver stating that she had entered the interstate from Williamstown traveling south when a black vehicle had cut her off causing her to swerve and lose control of the vehicle. She then hit the median and spun out. The deputy observed the vehicle to have damage to the front of the vehicle with the radiator having been pushed into the engine as well as the rear bumper to have damage. The vehicle was towed and a crash report taken.

June 28

* Deputies responded to the area of Lakeview Center in reference to a homeless encampment. Upon arriving the deputies made contact with a male and female who stated it was not their encampment they were just passing through. Both were advised on trespassing and they left the area. About 30 minutes after clearing the call the deputies were advised that the male and female had returned to the area. Contact was made with the male and female from the previous call and they were told to pack what they could on this day and they would need to get with the property owner to retrieve the rest of their items (a phone number was provided to them). Citations were issued to Bryan Allen Knorr and Heather Gibson, both homeless, for Trespassing. They again were told to stay off the property.

* A deputy responded to the BFS gas station located on Emerson Avenue in reference to a domestic in progress. Upon arrival the female stated she and the male had gotten into an argument at the Motel 6 where they were staying and he had grabbed her by the throat and threw her phone, breaking it. She left the motel and went to the BFS to call 911. Deputies went to Motel 6 where Montenez Keon Gardner, 42, of Centerville, Ill., was arrested on a charge of Strangulation. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center and arraigned before a Magistrate.

June 29

* Deputies responded to the area of Harris Highway and Belleville Drive in reference to a vehicle crash where the 911 caller who was also the driver advised he had crashed into a creek and believed in the area of Belleville Drive. Central Dispatch advised they were showing the area of Harris Highway and Champion School Road. The deputy located the vehicle down in a creek bed on Harris Highway and made contact with the driver who was standing through the sunroof of the vehicle. The driver was able to climb up the embankment to the roadway appearing to have only minor injuries. The driver stated he believed he had fallen asleep and went off the road. The vehicle was towed as it was observed to have significant damage to all sides, as well as side and front airbag deployment. Crash report taken.

* A deputy sitting stationary in a marked patrol vehicle on I-77 near U.S. 50 observing north and southbound traffic in the construction zone observed a vehicle traveling Northbound on I-77 at a speed to be much greater than the posted 55 mph zone (radar confirmed 95). Emergency lights were activated and a traffic stop was conducted. A citation was issued to David Eugene Bostaph Jr., 20, of Elizabeth, for Speeding, 95 in a 55 mph zone, and Reckless Driving.

* A Deputy responded to Elizabeth Pike in reference to a report of a disorderly motorist that had pulled into the parking lot of the Par Mar the registration was given by the caller stating the vehicle was driving all over the lanes of travel. The deputy made contact with the driver as she walked out of the store to her vehicle. A local check showed a Suspension on her license. A citation was issued to Rita Marie Moore, 36, of McKinley Avenue, for Driving Suspended/Revoked 2nd offense.

* A deputy sitting stationary observing both north and southbound traffic from a marked patrol vehicle in the median of I-77 near mm 178.5 observed a vehicle appearing to be traveling at a speed greater than the posted 70 mph zone (radar confirmed 87). A traffic stop was conducted and a citation was issued to Bailee Ann Payne, 27, of Sissonville, for Speeding, 87 in a 70 mph zone.

June 30

* A citation was issued to Lonny Robert Carter Jr., 46, of Akron, Ohio, for Speeding, 87 in a 70 mph zone (radar confirmed).

* A citation was issued to Steven Kyle Rowan, 32, of Charleston, for No Operators.

* A citation was issued to Andrew Patrick LeMasters, 31, of Latrobe Street, for Driving on Suspended/Revoked and No Proof of Insurance. The motorcycle was parked until a friend arrived to tow it.

* A citation was issued to Jessica Lea Anthony, 41, of Washington, W.Va., for Speeding, 84 in a 65 mph zone.

* A citation was issued to Patrick Joseph Miller, 50, of Cocoa, Fla., for Speeding, 88 in a 70 mph zone.

* Traffic stop conducted after the vehicle was observed to fail to come to a complete stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Core Road and East Seventh Street. Upon contact with the driver and passenger a local check showed a Capias on file for the passenger. A citation was issued to the driver, Cecil E. Schultheisz III, 49, of Little Hocking, for No Proof of Insurance. The passenger, Mark Andrew Lowers, 32, of Vincent, was arrested on the Capias for Failure to Appear on charges of Driving on Suspended/Revoked 3rd offense and No insurance. He was transported to the Holding Center, arraigned before a Magistrate and placed back into the Holding Center.

* A citation was issued to Dustin Eugene Wright, 49, of Davisville, for Speeding, 83 in a 65 mph zone.

* A citation was issued to Samantha Fayth Schilling, 20, of Williamstown, for Speeding, 84 in a 65 mph zone.

* A deputy made contact with a male in the parking lot of the Wood County Sheriff's Office in reference to serving him with a Domestic Violence Protective Order, the male was also advised that he had a warrant being served on him. Mizael Rodriguez Gutierrez, 39, of DuPont Road, was served with the Protective Order and arrested on the warrant for Domestic Battery after an incident which had occurred and the warrant issued through the Wood County Sheriff's Department. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center and confined pending his arraignment.

* A citation was issued to Charles Norman Andre Perry, 55, of Harrisburg, Pa., for Speeding, 90 in a 70 mph zone.

July 1

* A deputy stationary in the area of mm 5 westbound on Robert Byrd Highway observing westbound traffic observed a vehicle appearing to be traveling at a much greater speed than the posted 65 mph limit (radar confirmed). A traffic stop was conducted and a citation was issued to Justin Craig Cox, 43, of DuPont Road, for Speeding, 97 in a 65 mph zone.

* A deputy responded to Borland Springs Road in reference to a Breaking and Entering that had already occurred. The complainant/victim reported that a camper trailer, a utility trailer and a shed had been broken into on the property. He reported that a Polaris Ranger XP 1000 had been taken from the utility trailer, a compound bow and air compressor had been taken from the shed and at this time unknown what if anything had been taken from the camper. At this time the investigation is ongoing.

* A deputy and court officer responded to Magistrate Court in reference to a warrant service. Shaunda Rachelle Cantwell, 27, of Tefft Street, was arrested on warrants issued out of Wirt County. She was taken to the Holding Center for processing, arraigned and released on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond.

* A citation was issued to Josey Callahan Williams, 21, of Pettyville Road, for Speeding, 86 in a 55 mph zone, and given a verbal warning on Expired Registration and Expired MVI.

* Deputies responded to Winding Road to attempt a warrant service. Cheryl Renee Naylor, 42, of Winding Road, was arrested for Fugitive from Justice as she was wanted out of Washington County Ohio on charges of Aggravated Possession of drugs. She was transported to the Holding Center for processing, arraigned before a Magistrate and then confined pending extradition.

* Deputies responded to Meadville Road in reference to a vehicle striking a gas meter and leaving the scene, with a description given of the vehicle it was located on Meadville Road with significant crash damage parked sideways in the middle of the roadway with a female sitting in the driver seat. AnnMarie Gail Metrick, 32, of Davisville Road, was arrested on charges of DUI greater than .150%, Duty upon striking fixture, Notification of crashes. And No Proof of Insurance. She was transported to the Holding Center for processing and placed pending her arraignment.

* A deputy responded to U.S. 50 westbound near the 3.5 mm in reference to a vehicle that struck the concrete barrier and ended on the side of the road. Upon speaking with the driver the deputy detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his person as he spoke. Tristen Scott Radcliff, 27, of Parmaco Street, was arrested on a charge of Aggravated DUI. He was transported to the Holding Center for processing, then transported to CCMC for medical clearance and placed back into the Holding Center.

July 2

* Deputies while monitoring traffic on U.S. 50 Blennerhassett Bridge observed a vehicle to be traveling at a rate of speed much greater than the posted limit of 65 mph (radar confirmed). A traffic stop was conducted and Michael Paul Hollingsworth, 46, of Vincent, was arrested on charges of Driving on Suspended/Revoked, Speeding 88 in a 65 mph zone and No Insurance. He was transported to the Holding Center for processing.

* A traffic stop was conducted and a citation was issued to J'Naela Bre'Nysha Maria Woods, 22, of Akron, Ohio, for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana).

July 3

* Deputies responded to Logan Lane in reference to a domestic situation in progress. The Deputies were advised that the problem party had been throwing items inside the residence. The male stated it was verbal between himself and his mother and that he had thrown a can of soup against the wall. The complainant/victim stated that he had lunged at her and made threats causing her to be fearful for safety. Aaron Dustin Calebaugh, 30, of Logan Lane, was arrested on a charge of Domestic Assault. He was transported, processed and confined pending his arraignment.

* A citation was issued to Kristin Lynn Bowe, 31, of St. Marys, for Speeding, 70 in a 55 mph zone.

* A deputy while monitoring traffic in the area of Emerson Avenue at the entrance to Meadows Mobile Home Park observed two vehicles approaching his position traveling southbound on Emerson Avenue at an extreme rate of speed (radar confirmed). The vehicles were traveling side by side in adjacent lanes maintaining similar speeds as one another and as the vehicles passed the deputy activated emergency lights with the pickup truck immediately yielding to the shoulder the Kia continued until yielding at the intersection of Chichester Lane. Larry Dean Wallace (Driver of truck), 27, of Covert Street, was arrested on charges of Speeding, 99 in a 55 mph zone, Reckless Driving and Racing. Jesse Howard Skidmore (driver of car), 24, of Bull Creek Road, was arrested on charges of Speeding, 99 in a 55 mph zone, Reckless Driving and Racing. The passenger in the Kia, Alexander Bryce Henthorn, 24, of Emerson Avenue, was arrested on a warrant issued out of Wetzel County for Possession with Intent. All were transported to the Holding Center for processing and placed pending arraignment.

* A citation was issued to Logan Michael Hinzman, 20, of 31st Street, for Speeding, 79 in a 65 mph zone.

July 4

* A citation was issued to Michael A. McAbier, 65, of Canton, Ohio, for Speeding, 95 in a 70 mph zone.

* Deputies responded to Pike Street in reference to a domestic in progress. Natasha Renee Kelsey, 35, of Pine Avenue, was arrested on a charge of Domestic Battery. She was transported to the Holding Center for processing and placed pending her arraignment.

* A citation was issued to Chance Michael Hupp, 20, of Palestine, W.Va., for Speeding, 59 in a 40 mph zone.

* A citation was issued to Norma Jean Collins, 56, of Mitchells Court, for Speeding, 65 in a 40 mph zone.
