PARKERSBURG — A Lowell man was sentenced to 10 years in prison after previously pleading guilty to a charge of use of minors in filming sexually explicit conduct.
Brayden Taylor Roux, 20, pleaded guilty to the first charge in a six-count indictment and was sentenced Monday by Wood County Circuit Court Judge Robert A. Waters.
According to a post on the Parkersburg Police Department’s Facebook page, the investigation began in December 2023 after the incident, which happened in June of that year, was reported to police.
Court records show Roux will have to register as a sex offender for life.
