PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on May 7:

* Joni Davis, 1011 Swann St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to truancy and fined $226.48.

* David Bradley Moyers, 375 Crown Manor Circle St. Rt. 88, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, DUI-Drugs, fined $537.96 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Sarah Renee Leasure, 1199 Pettyville Road, Mineral Wells, had a charge of operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate dismissed after obtaining an MVI and presenting to the court.

* Tina Louise McElfresh, 1600 Avery St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. She had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed, per a plea agreement. She also pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $452.96.

* Michael Scott Orr, 3685 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, pleaded guilty to striking an unattended vehicle and DUI, fined $4,022.96 and sentenced to two days in jail with a credit of one day for time served.

* Autumn Marie Bailey, 1120 Fox Ave., Harrisville, had a charge of receiving/transferring stolen goods dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Zachary Taylor Jones, Vienna, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice after the alleged victim indicated they no longer wished to pursue. A charge of DUI with a BAC of .15 or more was dismissed as evidence in the report was not presented to the prosecuting attorney or defense counsel.

* Jeremy Paul Holbert, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed with prejudice.

* Hunter Riley Thomas, 12290 Dupont Road Apt 10, Washington, W.Va., pleaded no contest to having no operator’s license and fined $196.48.

* Kayla Ann Forshey, 1015 18th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a seat belt violation and fined $25. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed.

* Craig Boyd, 1015 18th St. Apt 1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a seat belt violation and fined $25.

* Gregory A Haines, 318 Haines Lane, Palestine, pleaded no contest to not using a hands-free device and fined $276.48.

* Paula Jean Walker, No Address Given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County, Ohio, on a probation violation on an original charge of drug possession and held on no bond.

* Briana Kay Hardesty, Marietta, was arraigned on two counts of violating a domestic violence protection order and held on $2,000 surety bond.

* Michael David Hall, 720 Pine Circle, Davisville, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license and having no MVI sticker and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Dylan Michael Lamp, 202 Berry Run Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of reckless driving and released on $1,000 surety bond.

* Shawn C. Newlon, 14259 Staunton Turnpike, Smithville, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance , having no inspection sticker and having no registration and fined $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Charles Allen Redmond, 1313 36th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of vehicle tampering, obstruction and failure to fingerprint and held on $2,200surety bond.

* Tambrie Tyree Williams, 274 South St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of petit larceny and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Anthony Michael Steele, 6404 MacCorkle Ave. SW, Saint Albans, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of escape and transporting a controlled substance into the jail and held on $150,000 surety/cash bond.

* Cortney Leigh Harris, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed after the alleged victim failed to appear in court.

* Bret Garrison Primm, 1041 Meldahl Road, Washington, W.Va., had a charge of DUI with a BAC of .15 or more dismissed after evidence was lost.

* Freddie Eugene Massey II, 1507 30th St., Vienna, had charges of improper use of registration and failure to report an accident dismissed with prejudice.

* Isaac Isaiah Hildreth, 6485 Woodbrook Road, Albany, Ohio, pleaded no contest to violating a protective order, fined $426.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail and placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He had a charge of leaving the scene of an accident with damage dismissed with prejudice.

* Bryce Jefferson Riggs, 1145 Deerwalk Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to trespassing and fined $251.48.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on May 8:

* Justin Edward Palmer, 914 Laverne St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to receiving/transferring stolen goods, fined $676.43 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on two years of unsupervised probation. He had a charge of receiving/transferring stolen goods dismissed, per a plea agreement

* Michael Kay Staats, 1912 Cameron Ave., Parkersburg, has a charge of violating a protective order dismissed after the alleged victim did not wish to pursue.

* Rebecca Lynn Thompson, 217 Fox Run Road Apt 26, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to having no insurance and fined $376.48.

* Eric Andrew Mays, 514 55th St., Vienna, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance dismissed following a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Skylar Scott Anderson, 2202 Beverly St., Parkersburg, had a charge of battery dismissed following a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Randi Danielle Stalnaker, 126 Maple Shades Count, Mineral Wells, had a charge of violation of a domestic violence order dismissed following a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Dustin Glen Leffel, 97 Middle Hill Road, Waverly, pleaded guilty to second-offense driving on a suspended license for DUI and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription (two counts), fined $1,929.44 and sentenced to one year and 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. Charges of going left of center and having defective equipment were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Misty Dawn Atkinson, 3505 Sixth Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of driving on a suspended license was dismissed after obtaining a valid license.

* Leann Dolleen Lemon, P.O. Box 3012, Parkersburg, was found guilty of possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription and driving on a suspended license and fined $762.96 after the conditions of a six-month deferred sentence agreement were not met.

* Faith Tea-Noel Hutson, 710 Grandview St. Apt. C, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no operator’s license and illegally following an emergency vehicle and fined $652.96.

* Rex Franklin Hutson Jr., 906 Lakeview Dr., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and driving on a suspended license, fined $1,012.96 and sentenced to 20 days home confinement.

* Misty Dawn Atkinson, 3505 6th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $201.48. A charge of driving on a suspended license was dismissed after she obtained a valid license.

* Mark Mason Somerville, 17 Painters Crossing, Williamstown, had a charge of DUI in an impaired state dismissed after completing a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Hannah Nicole Brannon, 512 Ninth Ave Apt D, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. She was ordered to pay a $428.64 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.

* Jamie Jacob Mills, 1337 St. Marys Ave, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of harassment in violation of a protective order. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Beldon Todd Bailey, 1500 Broadway Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of manufacture, delivery or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver dismissed as Bailey is deceased.

* William Dee Swafford, 2309 Belmont Road, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of grand larceny. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Ryleigh Emma Ansel, 1601 Dewey St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Carrie Deann Queen, 2835 Meadowview Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of second-offense driving on a suspended license and defective equipment (warrant) and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Brandon D. Kesterson, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $1,000 surety bond.

* Jerry Ray Shepard, 28 School St., Elizabeth, was arraigned on charges of trespassing and obstruction and released on $1,000 surety bond.

* Larry Robert Koehler, 703 1/2 Locust St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of trespassing and obstruction and held on $1,000 surety bond.

* Gidget Virginia Vandelinde, 2987 Dutch Ridge Road Apt 22, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $181.48.

* Savannah L Walker, 1103 24th St. Apt. B, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a seat belt violation and fined $25.
