PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 9:

* Gary Wayne Johnson, 910 Dr Judy Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to expired registration and fined $181.48.

* Taylor Dawn Rust, 603 Buckeye St. Apt 101, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to expired registration and fined $181.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Tracey Anne Drum, 1170 Steams St., Brunswick, Ohio, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $191.48.

* John William Bailey, 214 Willard Road, Parkersburg, had charges of second-offense driving on a suspended license and a traffic signal violation dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Brandon Keishaun Reed, 21548 Dequindre Road, Warren, Mich., had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of fleeing from a law enforcement officer in a vehicle causing bodily injury. The case was transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Seth M Rowh, 1008 51st St., Vienna, had a charge of speeding dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement. He also had a charge of expired registration dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Terry Lee Hunter, 615 17th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of failure to register or provide notice of registration changes as a sex offender. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Jimmie Denise Carter, 28 South Park Villa, Parkersburg, was arraigned on three counts of forgery/uttering and held on a $7,500 surety bond.

* Aliyah Necole Jenkins, 3410 Janet Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* John Michael Brown, 1312 14th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

* Harold Gene Young Jr., 1209 Lakeview Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of fraudulent possession/use of an access device and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

* Alphonso Lesean Johnson, 2821 Emerson Ave. Apt #30, Parkersburg, was arraigned on six counts of wanton endangerment of a firearm and held on $500,000 surety bond.

* Christopher Adam Grinter, 825 Seventh St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of destruction of property and malicious assault and held on $51,000 surety cash bond.

* Travis Keith Hall, 720 Pine Circle, Davisville, was arraigned on charges of expired operator's license and having no insurance and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Shavannah Nichole Martin, 1670 Braun Road, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting, less than $500, and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* James W Crow, 3038 Clay Road, Spencer, was arraigned on a charge of failure to obey a traffic control device and released on a $100 personal recognizance bond.

* Brody Lee Teter, 936 Marrtown Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of underaged consumption and possession of alcohol and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Heather Dawn Lucas, 907A Pike St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and released on a $2,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Ross Mckenzie Barker, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and interfering with emergency telephone communications and released on $1,000 surety bond.

PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 10:

* Santana Lynette Lake, 2627 26th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and having no insurance and fined $652.96

* John Francis Lopez, 2503 Beverly St. Apt. 12F, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $181.48. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed after proof was presented to the court.

* Jason Adam Martins, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of destruction of property and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Gary Dale Ball, 907 Neal St. Apt I, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Andrew Alan Arkley, 5321 Sheets Road, Logan, Ohio, was arraigned on charges of battery of a police officer and two counts of obstruction and held on $5,000 surety bond.

* Jennifer Rebecca McCrady, 140 Sunset Blvd., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of reckless driving and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Kendrick Mack Stroder, 312 N Jackson St., Springfield, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of strangulation and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

* Grace Anne Keaffaber, 911 Mary St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Cheryl Lynn Johnson-Ethington, 906 Pinewood Dr., Dunbar, W.Va., had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of fraudulent schemes. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Bailey Eugene Keel, 3714 East Seventh St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $247.98 civil penalty to Walmart. Keel also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Kenneth Ray George, 1305 36th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI and fined $351.48.

* Alicia Danielle Woods, 204 Webster St., Clarksburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm and fined $266.48 after a deferred sentence agreement was not completed.

* George Alan Barnhart, 928 Newbanks Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $276.48. He had a charge of second-offense driving on a revoked license for DUI dismissed without prejudice. Barnhart was never convicted of a first-offense driving on a revoked license for DUI

* Annmarie Theresa Illicete, 9313 Lester Lane, Richmond, Va., pleaded guilty to DUI, .15 BAC or more, fined $471.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail with a credit of 48 hours for time served which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. She is required to continue treatment and provide proof to the court. She also pleaded guilty DUI, .15 or more and leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage, fined $667.96 and sentenced to two days in jail which was ruled as time served.

* Gavin Joseph Hendershot, 2482 Wells Locks Ra, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to speeding in a school zone and fined $276.48.

* Keith Edward Sines, 500 13th St. Apt. 14, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license, but wasn't fined.
