PARKERSBURG — A Parkersburg man accused of multiple sexual assault and abuse charges was one of 56 people indicted Wednesday by the Wood County Grand Jury.

Jesse Aaron Stephens, 44, of Parkersburg was charged with 11 counts of first-degree sexual assault; 15 counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person of trust; and four counts of sexual assault in the second degree.

The charges ranged from 2014 to 2024 and Stephens was charged with a total of 30 counts of sexual assault and abuse. Stephens was arrested in February and is out on bond, Prosecutor Pat Lefebure said.

Also indicted were:

* Donald Paul Anderson, 38, 1349 Avery St., Parkersburg; three counts of distribution or display to a minor of obscene matter, from April 2022 to 2023.

* Sonya Jeanette Bailey, 54, 328 Hebron Rd., St. Marys; one count each of embezzlement and grand larceny by embezzlement, from December 2023 to January 2024.

* Thomas Mark Baker, 42, 3501 Elm St., Parkersburg; two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, one count of conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, one count of transportation of controlled substances into the state, all from October and November.

* Co-defendant Jesse Lee Legg, 28, 1013 27th St., Apt. 8, Vienna; one count each of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, transportation of controlled substances into the state and maintaining a vehicle for keeping controlled substances, all from November.

* Michael Stephen Baugh, 59, 1103 18th St., Apt. A2, Vienna; third-offense shoplifting from February.

* Jason Benard, 51, 502 Parmaco St., Parkersburg; one count each of drug delivery resulting in death and delivery of a controlled substance, both second offenses, from May 2024 and May 2025, respectively.

* Corey Joseph Brock, 44, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail; one count each of grand larceny and escape from March.

* Jill Kristen Bolden, 44, North Central Regional Jail; one count each of child abuse with bodily injury, domestic battery and strangulation from October.

* John Ray Chidrey, 58, North Central Regional Jail; one count each of possession of a stolen vehicle and obstructing a police officer from February.

* Riannon LeKay Croston, 34, North Central Regional Jail; child neglect causing serious bodily injury from February.

* Charles Brian Davis, 50, Salem Correctional Center; one count each of fleeing from an officer in a vehicle with reckless indifference, driving while license revoked – miscellaneous and false pretenses, from January 2023 to May 2024.

* Kyle Scott Drake, 28, 3858 Shelving Rock Road, Elizabeth; one count each of attempted malicious assault, extortion, computer fraud and attempted fraudulent schemes from December.

* Mitchell Allan Edwards, 43, North Central Regional Jail; possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, second offense, from December.

* Albert Walker Ellis, 34, North Central Regional Jail; one count each of child abuse resulting in serious injury and child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or bodily injury from December.

* Mark Edward Epler, 69, 34 White Oak Road, Walker; two counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm and one count of battery from February.

* Teanna Carolyn Flinn, 28, 802 Seventh St., Apt. 2, Parkersburgl; one count each of fraudulent disposition of personal property in possession by virtue of lease and false pretenses, from March.

* Daniel Lee Frame, 42, 713 29th St., Parkersburg; one count each of unlawful restraint and third-offense domestic battery from March.

* George Franklin Friel IV, 23, North Central Regional Jail; two counts each of third-offense domestic battery and battery on a law enforcement officer and one count each of malicious assault, obstructing an officer, attempting to disarm a law enforcement officer, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful restraint, burglary, battery and destruction of property from July 2024 to November 2024.

* Co-defendants Candace Mae Gibson, 41, 4413 Ninth Ave., Parkersburg, and Rick Shawn Willis, 46, 1100 Laird Ave., Parkersburg; one count each of drug delivery resulting in death, failure to render aid, delivery of a controlled substance, conspiracy to commit a felony and conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance from November 2022.

* Channing Roman Greenleaf, 23, North Central Regional Jail; failure to render aid, from June 2024.

* Wesley Halstead, 42, 2230 16th St., Parkersburg; one count each of child abuse resulting in bodily injury and domestic battery from November.

* Michael Thomas Helm, 62, 632 Virginia St., Marietta; one count of soliciting a minor via computer and travelling to engage the minor in prohibited sexual activity, one count of use of obscene matter with the intent to seduce a minor, from February to March.

* Jacob Benjamin Hilton, 33, 1206 West Virginia Ave., Parkersburg; one count each of embezzlement and grand larceny by embezzlement, from August 2023 through August 2024.

* Philip Joseph Humpries, 49, 1340 Lynn St., Parkersburg; two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count each of second-offense possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, transporting a controlled substance onto the grounds of a jail and second-offense maintaining a vehicle for using, keeping or selling controlled substances, from June to December.

* Shawna Kai Jeffrey, 42, 1757 Murphytown Road, Davisville; child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury, from February.

* John Michael Keeney, 44, North Central Regional Jail; one count each of persons prohibited from possessing a firearm and persons prohibited from possessing a concealed firearm from September.

* Brandon James Kerns, 23, North Central Regional Jail; five counts of possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver from February.

* Dustin Ray Kinney, 33, North Central Regional Jail; three counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm and one count each of attempted burglary, persons prohibited from possessing a firearm and conspiracy to commit a felony from November.

* Frank Carrol Lawrence, 49, 1131 Lynn St., Apt. 2, Parkersburg; one count each of burglary and battery from February.

* Nickea Blaine Leadmon, 29, North Central Regional Jail; one count each of third-offense shoplifting, leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage and reckless driving from January.

* Jacob Gordon Linville, 29, 1059 31st St., Apt. A, Parkersburg; two counts of domestic battery and one count each of strangulation and child abuse resulting in bodily injury from December and one count of failure to appear from February.

* Co-defendants Steven Tony Lusk Jr., 46, 5015 Habrook Rd., West Union; and David Willis Melott, 41, 637 Goose Run Road, Pullman, were each charged with breaking and entering, attempted petit larceny and conspiracy to commit a felony from June 2024.

* Michael Eugene Mallory, 29, 430 17th St., Dunbar; two counts each of child abuse creating risk of injury and domestic battery from April 2024.

* Merrill Bernett Marley, 63, 229 White Head Drive, Parkersburg; one count of soliciting a minor via computer and traveling to engage the minor in prohibited sexual activities, one count of use of obscene matter with intent to seduce a minor, from March.

* Travis Shane McCune II, 34, 807 36th St., Vienna; grand larceny and leaving the scene of a crash from January.

* Brandis Lee Morehead, 43, 20 Granda Drive, Parkersburg; two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and one count of transporting a controlled substance onto the grounds of the jail from September 2024.

* Brian L. Morrow, 52, 50 Hazelwood Drive, Marietta; one count each of soliciting a minor via computer and traveling to engage the minor in prohibited sexual activities and use of obscene matter with intent to seduce a minor, from March.

* Jackie Anne Nay, 37, 122 Sharon St., Mineral Wells; third-offense shoplifting, from January.

* Joseph Steven Nester, 33, North Central Regional Jail; one count of soliciting a minor via computer and two counts of use of obscene matter with the intent to seduce a minor from February and three counts of failure to register from December.

* Caleb Andrew Norman, 31, 159 Onward Road, Williamstown; child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury from January.

* Ashley Nicole Roberts, 37, 2424 Parker Ave., Parkersburg; two counts each of child abuse with bodily injury, domestic battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor from January

* Eric Anthony Rollyson, 42, North Central Regional Jail; one count of first-degree sexual assault from January 2006 through December 2010; four counts of sexual abuse by parent, guardian, custodian or person of trust from January 2006 through December 2018; two counts of distribution or display to a minor of obscene matter, from January 2006 through December 2018; and three counts of first-degree sexual abuse from February 2016 through December 2018.

* Brayden T. Roux, 19, North Central Regional Jail; one count of child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury from November 2024; two counts each of child abuse resulting in bodily injury and first-degree sexual abuse; three counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person in a position of trust; and one count each of first-degree sexual assault and domestic battery from March 2024 through November 2024.

* Matthew Duke Saunders, 36,North Central Regional Jail; possession of a stolen vehicle from March.

* Leroy Vernon Seabolt, 66, North Central Regional Jail; one count each of second-offense possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and persons prohibited from possessing a firearm from September.

* Jordan Ray Stewart, 25, 413 Eighth St., Parkersburg; fraudulent use of an access device, from November.

* Christian Addison Sterling Stukey, 46, 557 Sixth St., Parkersburg; one count each of grand larceny, conspiracy to commit a felony and second-offense shoplifting over $500 from November.

* Timothy Allen Thompson, 41, 217 Fox Run Drive, Mineral Wells; two counts of second-offense failure to register from May 2024.

* Emma Mayanna Wallbrown, 21, 612 Lubeck Ave., Parkersburg; one count each of grand larceny, conspiracy to commit a felony, shoplifting over $500, escape and fleeing from a police officer from February.

* Lloyd Michael Wamsley, 44, North Central Regional Jail; two counts of second-offense delivery of a controlled substance and one count of second-offense conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance from July 2024. Co-defendant April Michelle Trippett, 31, North Central Regional Jail; one count each of delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance from July 2024 and one count each of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver from March. Co-defendant Ronald Anthony Brown, 47, North Central Regional Jail; two counts of second-offense possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver from December to March; one count of second-offense transportation of controlled substances into the state from December; and one count each of second-offense conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, persons prohibited from possessing a firearm, persons prohibited from possessing a concealed firearm, and second-offense maintaining a vehicle for using, keeping, or selling of controlled substances, all from March.
