MARIETTA — Republican Vivek Ramaswamy will visit PowerFlo Solutions in Reno on Monday evening as part of his bid to become Ohio’s next governor.

The Cincinnati-born biotech entrepreneur officially started his campaign in Cincinnati in February.

His stop in the area will include a business roundtable and private ticketed fundraising event at PowerFlo. The Washington County Republican Central Committee coordinated the event in part. Chairman Jim Vuksic, who was involved in planning the event, said the new facility may have been part of what drew Ramaswamy and his team to the area.

Ramaswamy’s campaign has included a focus on revitalization of Ohio industry and business growth.

Before his stop in Washington County, Ramaswamy will be the keynote speaker Saturday at the annual Lincoln Day Dinner hosted by the Monroe County Republican Party in Woodsfield, Ohio.
