PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 3:
* Rhonda Renee Patterson, 2600 27th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription after an unsuccessful LEADS program sentence, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Joel Jordan Green, 4002 Jefferson St., Parkersburg, was found not guilty on a charge of violation of an emergency protective order.
* Benjamin Michael Williams, 1321 Lynn St., Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.
* Ronald Anthony Brown, 9 Witherspoon Court, Falling Waters, W.Va., had probable cause found for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth and being a prohibited person in possession of a concealed firearm. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Steven Paul Black, 11058 Pond Creek Road, Rockport, had a preliminary hearing waived on two counts of gross neglect of a child creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Judith Dawn Hernandez, 1220 16th St., Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of heroin dismissed as part of a LEADS sentence agreement, but the officer did not appear in court.
* Jamie Lee Gains, 3 Pride Court, Belpre, had a charge of improperly passing a school bus violation dismissed as the state does not have the reports from the incident.
* Sherry Lynn Mills, 4313 12th Ave., Parkersburg, had charges of expired registration and no insurance dismissed after Mills surrendered ownership of the vehicle.
* Anthony E Hill, 3310 Sandhill Road, Marietta, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $196.48.
* John Ray Smith, 1108 Juliana St. Apt 87, Parkersburg, had a charge of petit larceny dismissed after the officer failed to appear in court.
* Gregory Ryan Barnes, 2212 36th St. Apt 0, Parkersburg, had a charge of misdemeanor violation of a protective order dismissed after the alleged victim failed to appear in court.
* Terry L. Hunter, 615 17th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender and held on $10,000 surety bond.
* Stephanie Lynn Gibson, 9 Diamond Drive, Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of fraudulent use of an access device and released on $2,500 surety bond.
* Brittany Lee Nicole Bell, 800 Seventh St. Apt. 6, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver fentanyl and released on a $25,000 surety bond.
* Micah Edward Leisure, 741 Larkmead Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of misdemeanor violation of a protective order and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Gregory Allen Hutson Jr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and violation of a protective order and released on $500 surety bond.
* Nathan Cole Carpenter, 501 Victoria Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a red light violation and fined $186.48.
* Aaron Paul Brand, 1259 Grassy Run Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to providing false information to DNR and fined $196.48.
* Scott Allen Pennington, 1588 McGraw Run Road, Sandyville, pleaded guilty to having no motorcycle endorsement and having no insurance and fined $557.96.
* Mancil Eugene Kelley, 30900 State Route 7, Marietta, pleaded guilty to speeding (94 mph in a 70 mph zone).
