Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on March 11:

* Mark Edward Still, 108 Maxwell Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed without prejudice after it was determined the drugs were not sent to the lab and there was no way of proving the case.

* Jimmy Duane Dailey, 403 11th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and fined $276.48. A charge of public intoxication was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* James Edward Wallbrown Jr., Parkersburg, had a charge of second-offense battery on a police officer dismissed as the charge brought an indictment in Wood County Circuit Court and is being handled there. Another charge of second-offense battery on a police officer was dismissed as it was improperly charged as a felony.

* Jackie Sue Sprouse, NCRJ, #1 Lois Lane, Greenwood, W.Va., had a charge of first-degree arson dismissed as the charge brought an indictment in Wood County Circuit Court and is being handled there.

* Tracy Lynn Florence, 2694 Pettyville Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $186.48. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the BP Par Mar store on Pike Street in Parkersburg.

* Shawna Kai Jeffrey, 1757 Murphytown Road, Davisville, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of gross child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Chariss Edward Drummond, c/o 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and held on a $1,000 surety grant.

* Brittany Ann Botts, 1005 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of first-degree arson and two counts of shoplifting and held on a $100,500 surety bond.

* Daniel Robert Woods-Blackwell, 1005 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of third-offense shoplifting and first-degree arson and held on $150,000 bond.

* Jeromie Lee Elschlager, 2429 Ninth Ave., Huntington, was arraigned on a charge of fishing without a license and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Brian Andrew Sears, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $2,500 surety bond.

* Amber Nicole Mackey, 3516 Winding Road, Waverly, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended operator’s license and having no insurance and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Landon Nile Flinn, 793 Meadville Road, Davisville, was arraigned on charges of conspiracy and shooting a firearm near a building and released on a $2,500 cash bond.

* Scott Robert Hickman, 15 Little Kanawha Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and held on $3,000 surety bond.

* Melissa Diane Cunninham-Burton, 804 Hocking Road, Belpre, was arraigned on charges of going left of center, having no insurance and failure to maintain control and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Jesse Scott Books, 300 Fourth St. Apt. 4, Marietta, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and held on $1,000 surety bond.

* Bret Garrison Primm, 1041 Meldahl Road, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of conspiracy and released on a $2,500 cash bond.

* Lindsay Dawn Jones, 183 Berry Patch Lane, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of conspiracy and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

* Virginia Lorea Jenkins, 109 Longwell Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protective order and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

* John William Ash, 187 Miracle Lane, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to burning during prohibited hours and fined $476.48.

* Anna Rose Tupper, 301 Eighth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to improper use of turn lanes and fined $181.48.
