PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on March 6:
* Jessica Marie Bryant, 714 Hollybrook Drive, Harrisville, pleaded no contest to driving unsafely for roadway conditions and improperly following an emergency vehicle and fined $377.96.
* Nicole Mae Harbison, 350 Lang Farm Road, Marietta, pleaded guilty to a traffic-control signal violation and fined $186.48.
* Zachary Joe Cheuvront, 719 57th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to second-offense DUI, fined $231.48 and sentenced to one year of home confinement. He had a charge of third-offense DUI dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* James Andrew Mace II, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, fined $186.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended for two years probation. He has to seek counseling for one year. He had a charge of strangulation dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* James Walter Layton, 4005 McCorkle Ave SE Apt. 302, Charleston, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of false pretenses. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Robert Lee Hysell Jr., 2605 Broad St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of failure to provide child support. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Robert Levi Horton, 3001 City View Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no proof of insurance, driving on a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,500 personal recognizance bond.
* Jeffery A Stanley, 76 Barrett South Road, Vincent, was arraigned on a charge of speeding in a work zone and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.
* John E Boston, P.O. Box 209, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of having defective equipment, going left of center, having expired registration, having no insurance, driving on a license revoked for DUI and driving on a suspended license and released on a personal recognizance bond.
* William Lynn Yeager, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of obtaining services under false pretenses and released on $3,100 personal recognizance bond.
* Nicholas Craig Holbert, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and domestic assault and released on $2,000 surety bond.
* Shavannah Nichole Martin, 1670 Braun Road, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Cody Clayton Dyer, 1905 Oak St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Paige Shae Hopkins, 1408 Lancaster St., Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of obstruction and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Chad Michael Lee, 11 Harvey St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of expired registration and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.
* John Edward Boston, 154 Cedar Lane, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of a tail lamp violation, having an expired registration, driving on a suspended license for DUI and having no insurance and released on $2,500 surety bond.
* Gabriela Ashley Calloway, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and held on $2,000 surety bond.
