PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on March 4:
* Dustin Glen Leffel, 97 Middle Hill Road, Waverly, was arraigned on charges of second-offense driving on a suspended license for DUI, possession of a controlled substance (meth), possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and going left of center and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Charles B. Hupp, 1000 13th Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of wanton endangerment and released on $50,000 bond.
* Eric Andrew Metz, 160 Jefferson St. A3, Elizabeth, was arraigned on charges of leaving the scene of an accident, having no insurance and having expired registration and released on bond.
* Nathaniel J. Kemper, 641 Liberty St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* David Allen Settle, 441 Larkmead Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $196.48.
* Cheyenne Michelle Hayes, 606 Mayberry Run Road, Palestine, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $276.48. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.
* Shelby Danielle Jones, 1014 Benton Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to furnishing/selling beer to someone under 21 years old and fined $201.48.
* Cheyenne M Hayes, 606 Mayberry Run Road, Palestine, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (meth), fined $201.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and Hayes was placed on one year of unsupervised probation after the LEADS agreement was revoked.
* Tina May Dieringer, 107 Wiltshire Road, Troutman, N.C., had a charge of possession of a controlled substance greater than 15 grams dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.
* Shane Patrick Dineen, 2069 Taylor Grace Court, Winchester, Va., pleaded guilty to shoplifting penalties (less than $500) and fined $196.48. He was ordered to pay a $973.92 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Kelsey Frances Sampson, Waterford, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed after the alleged victim did not wish to pursue.
* Roger Florent Fontaine, 1169 Dutch Ridge Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI, fined $361.48 and sentenced to 11 hours jail time which was credited as time served.
* Christopher Lee Bohn, 647 Liberty St., Parkersburg, had charges of DUI in an impaired state and failure to maintain control of motor vehicle dismissed without prejudice.
* Shane Frederick Burden, 1134 Lynn St. Rm #12, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $186.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on March 5:
* Tabitha Starr Haught, 1208 25th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $186.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. She was ordered to pay a $1,139.52 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg. A charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription was dismissed, per a plea agreement. She also pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $186.48. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.
* Brandon Clark Price, PO Box 1, Belmont, pleaded guilty to hunting after sunset, hunting without permission and fined $196.48. Charges of failure to obtain an antlerless deer hunting startup and hunting within 500 feet of a dwelling were dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to obstructing officers (boating), fined $196.48 and sentenced to 100 days in jail and placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He had a charge of hunting from a watercraft, auto, plane dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Riannon Lekay Croston, 1016 Market St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of gross child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Taylor Brooke Stansberry, 75 Hanes St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on two counts of an inmate in possession of a weapon, drugs or dangerous materials. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Charles James Rollins, 412 12th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of strangulation. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Teonna Carolyn Flinn, 1592 Riser Ridge Road, Walker, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of fraudulent disposition of property after notice. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Christopher James Hunt, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed after the alleged victim did not wish to go forward with the case.
* John Jacob Matthews, 2515 Broadway Extension, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation for one year.
* Rachel Susanne Flowers, 2701 Fairview Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license for DUI and second-offense DUI, fined $1,1717.96 and sentenced to six months home confinement.
* Joshua Edward Radabaugh, 61 North Meadowlark Dr., Williamstown, had charges of DUI while impaired, less than .15 BAC, and having no insurance dismissed without prejudice.
* Jeremy Lee Dye, c/o 281 South Main St., Koyser, W.Va., pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $231.48. He was ordered to pay a $125.90 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Julie Marie Hall, 707 Summers St., Parkersburg, had charges of failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and reckless driving dismissed
* Jessica Rae Hixon, 2112 10th Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed as part of a deferred sentence agreement.
* Brayden Taylor Roux, 4405 Jefferson St., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to illegal lane change and driving too fast for roadway conditions and fined $552.96
* Creed Allen Estep, 117 Willowbrook Dr. Apt. 2, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding (64 mph in a 50 mph zone) and fined $191.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed after proof was presented to the court.
* Coty Michael Adams, Williamstown, had a charge of domestic assault dismissed as the alleged victim does not wish to proceed.
* Matthew James West, 132 North Hills Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of telephone harassment and released on a $2,000 surety bond.
* Nickea Blaine Leadmon, 904 Washington St., Ravenswood, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting, a capias warrant, and released on $10,500 surety bond.
* Travis Wineman, 1417 1/2 Covert St., Parkesburg, was arraigned on a charge of destruction of property and released on $2,000 surety bond.
* Ira Hyde Blair, 825 Seventh St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of burglary and held on a $25,000 surety bond.
* Trenton Lee Varner, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $3,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Melissa Lynn Jones, 714 16th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and driving on a suspended license and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.
* Zoe Michelle Hect, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $500 surety bond.
