PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Feb. 20:
* Samantha Danielle Crouch, 943 Swann St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. She also pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $176.48. She was ordered to pay a $539.98 civil restitution to the Boot Barn at the Grand Central Mall. She also pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.
* Michael Levi Gainer, 1204 28th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm and fined $236.48. A charge of driving on a suspended license for DUI was dismissed, per a plea agreement. A charge of not having the proper motorcycle endorsement was dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license for DUI and obstruction with threats of harm, fined $512.96 and sentenced to 60 days of home confinement. A charge of reckless driving was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Jeremy Allen Ciampanella, 930 Swann St. Apt. A, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription and fined $276.48.
* James Andrew Mace II, 1700 36th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Kimberly Sue Adams, 222 Tonya Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI causing bodily injury, fined $481.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* William Joseph Bills, 601 West 8th St., Williamstown, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.
* Anthony Brian Greathouse, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $2,000 bond.
* Veronica Ellen Dickson, 16 Meadowcrest Lane, Little Hocking, was arraigned on a charge of selling alcohol to someone under 21 and released on $500 bond.
* Antonio Manule Defrietas, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of destruction of property and held on $4,000 bond.
* Shawna Kai Jeffery, 1757 Murphytown Road, Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of child neglect creating a risk of injury and held on $20,000 bond.
* Tanner Bradley Pryor, Cutler, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $4,000 bond.
* Arthur Robert Tewkesbury, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $4,000 bond.
* Danny Lee Bishop, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and held on $3,000 bond.
* Emma Mayanna Wallbrown, 612 Lubeck Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of grand larceny and escape and held on $100,000 bond.
* Mackenzie Lynn Joy, 146 Chateau Hills, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of grand larceny and held on $50,000 bond.
* Cody Jack Davis, 1001 12th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $178.48. A charge of defective equipment was dismissed.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Feb. 21-23:
* Coleby David Schultz, 4107 New England Ridge Road, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of obstructing an officer and released on $2,000 bond.
* Raymond Lawrence Chapman, 1011 Mission Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of tampering with electronic monitoring system and held on $50,000 bond.
* Cidney Ann Nichols, 1801 19th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl) with intent to deliver and released on $50,000 bond.
* Jasmine Monique Harding, 824 Lakeview Drive Apt. 406b, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating vehicle law on a rail trail (warrant) and released on $500 bond.
* Tyler Dwayne Jenkins, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a count of domestic battery and held on $1,500 bond.
* Ben Edward Larson, 902 Colgate Drive, Marietta, was arraigned on two counts of violation of a domestic violence protective order and released on $2,000 bond.
* Michael Russell Slater, 2107 Ninth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of assault of a police officer, battery of a police officer, obstruction and failure to render information and held on $5,000 bond.
* Haeley Dawn Rexroad, No Address Given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Athens County, Ohio, on charges of receiving stolen property and aggravated possession of drugs. She was held without bond.
* Majed Abdullah Maliki, 3311 Spruce St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating a domestic violence protection order and released on $1,000 bond.
* Ty Ericson Eshenaur, 101 1/2 Main St., Ripley, was arraigned on a charge of obstructing an officer and released on $500 bond.
* Ira Blair Hyde, 825 7th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to simple assault, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail with a credit of nine days for time served. He had a charge of trespassing dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Riannon Lekay Croston, 1016 Market St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of child neglect creating the risk of death or serious injury and held on $50,000 bond.
* April Bonar, 70 Mountaineer Way, Williamstown, was arraigned on two charges of truancy and released on $200 bond.
