PARKERSBURG — Three men were charged Tuesday with discharging a firearm after being warned of the illegality, according to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies at about 1:20 a.m. Tuesday responded to 793 Meadville Road in Davisville on reports of multiple gunshots coming from the residence, the sheriff’s office said. Deputies spoke with Landon Flinn, the owner of the property, who said he was the one shooting from the residence, the sheriff’s office said.

Flinn and two other people present, Bret Primm and Lindsey Jones, were advised that it was illegal to discharge a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling where others lived within, the sheriff’s office said.

Shortly after deputies left, deputies were again dispatched to the same residence about shots being fired, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies arrested Flinn, 24, Primm, 24, of Washington, W.Va., and Jones, 29, of Washington, for conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor by discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies seized an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle and a 45-70 rifle, the sheriff’s office said.
