MARIETTA -- An alert put out by the Washington County Sheriff's Office indicated the serval cat in the area around Cherokee Drive and Bender Road in Warren Township has been "caught." The Ohio Department of Agriculture said the incident is under investigation.
Servals can stand around a foot-and-a-half tall and weigh around 19-40 lbs. No two look the same, but most are described as having tawny, black-spotted coats and long necks and ears.
