PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Dec. 12:
* Jon Eric Martin, 3625 Packard St. Apt. 45, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.
* William Keith Weekley, 5115 Turkey Fork Road, Spencer, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $191.48.
* Charrus Edward Drummond, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to petit larceny and fined $201.48. He also pleaded guilty to receiving/transferring stolen goods, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail with a credit of nine days for time served.
* Candy Rochelle Bentz, 529 6th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting penalties, less than $500, and fined $276.48. She was ordered to pay a $105.98 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Ann Street in Parkersburg. A charge of obstruction was dismissed.
* Paul Richard Goodrich III, 1810 Rush Run Road, Arnoldsburg, pleaded guilty to destruction of property and fined $386.48. Charges of obstruction with threats of harm and making a false report were dismissed.
* Jesse Ryan Nunley, 916 19h St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to drinking alcoholic liquor in public and fined $276.48. A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Corey Joseph Bock, 2803 17th Ave., Vienna, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $186.48. He was ordered to pay a $109.88 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Micah Wayne Griffith, 1593 Lois St., Belpre, was found not guilty of violating an emergency protective order.
* Caitlin Marle Stewart, 167 Gladesville Road, Morgantown, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Joseph Anthony Sams Sr., 943 Swann St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for attempt to commit a felony and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Tyler J. Taulbee, 59 Willowbrook Drive Apt. 2, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no operator's license and fined $186.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Lindsey Marie Tocos, 1817 Elm St Apts, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (fentanyl) and held on $100,000 bond.
* Jordan Dashawn Colebank, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $500 bond.
* Troy Michael Peterson, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a domestic violence protective order and released on $500 bond.
* Austin N Hendricks, 713 Division St. Apt. #5, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of battery and released on $500 bond.
* Robert A. Gibson, 1600 Knotts Ave. Apt. 3, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of DUI driving in an impaired state, with a BAC of less than .150 and released on $500 bond.
* Enouch J. Kermue, 675 7th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and driving on a suspended license and held on $500 bond.
* Joshua David Chichester, 1444 Jesterville Road, Vienna, was arraigned on charges of third-offense driving on a suspended license, having no insurance and possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,500 bond.

PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Dec. 13-15:
* Michael Richard File, 3208 2nd Ave., Vienna, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth and for two counts of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm due to a felony controlled substance conviction. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Nathan Scott Brannon, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, had a charge of trespassing dismissed.
* Michael David Enoch, 607 33rd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and petit larceny and held on $52,000 bond.
* Philip Joseph Humphries, 1612 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and held on $75,000 bond.
* Bryce Michael Edwards, 1301 23rd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of attempt to commit a felony (malicious assault) and held on $50,000 bond.
* Ronald Anthony Brown, 12401 Brickyard Blvd. Apt. 3036, Beltsville, Md., was arraigned on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and transporting a controlled substance into the state and held on $150,000 bond.
* Tina Louise McElfresh, 1600 Avery St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of burglary, malicious assault, driving on a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance (two counts) and released on $11,500 bond.
* Kyle Scott Drake, 3858 Shelving Rock Road, Elizabeth, was arraigned on a charge of attempt to commit first-degree murder and held on $450,000 bond.
* Timothy David Dotson, 1125 Pike St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender and held on $3,000 bond.
* Christopher James Hunt, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $2,000 bond.
* Kiara Mashawn Felder, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $2,000 bond.
* Kelsey Frances Sampson, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and held on $2,500 bond.
* Russell E. Modesitt, 383 O'Dell Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of illegal possession of deer and released on $500 bond.
* Christopher Wayne Hutson, 1010 Johnson Run Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of obstruction and released on $500 bond.
* Dale Robert Wiggins Jr., 44 Meadowbrook Acres, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstructing an officer (DNR), shoplifting, less than $500, and malicious assault and held on $50,750 bond.
* Gary Benton Hissem Jr, 133 Old Us 50 Rd., Walker, pleaded no contest for failure to check game prior to hunting and fined $196.48. A charge of failure to obtain a Class RG and Class RRG nonresident gun deer hunting stamp was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Brandon Lee Skidmore, 819 Beatty Ave., Cambridge. Ohio, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $186.48. He was ordered to pay a $542 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* David Lee Lockhart, 150 Berry Lane, Palestine, pleaded guilty to second-offense driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.
* William Daniel Smith, 8004 Lee Creek Road, Belleville, pleaded no contest to obstruct or impede participation of lawful hunting, fishing or trapping and fined $476.48.
* Rachel Rochelle Bush, 19 West Lane, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding (94 mph in a 70 mph zone) and fined $181.48.

PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Dec. 16:
* Toby Lee Blair, 534 5th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for charges of strangulation and burglary. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court. Charges of unlawful restraint and violation of a protective order were dismissed without prejudice as the charges will be indicted as felonies.
* Greg Warner Bradshaw, Vienna, had charges of domestic battery and misdemeanor violation of a protective order dismissed as the alleged victim does not wish to prosecute.
* James Cohlby Little, 1000 28th St., Vienna, had a charge of violation of a protective order dismissed following a successful deferred sentence agreement.
* Christopher Edward Posey, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim does not wish to pursue.
* Jesse Benjamin Reynolds, 83 Post Mill Way Apt. 404, Mineral Wells, had a charge of driving on a suspended license dismissed
* Dustin Wayne Sharp, 1903 19th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI, fined $351.48 and sentenced to 24 hours in jail.
* Robert O. Shepard, 480 State Route 355, Little Hocking, had a charge of violation of a protective order dismissed due to a lack of evidence.
* Austin Lee Skidmore, 2627 14th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving too fast for roadway conditions, possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, child neglect creating a substantial risk of bodily injury and DUI impaired driving with minors, fined $1,220.92 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on 18 months of unsupervised probation. He was ordered to serve 24 hours in jail.
* Sidney Eizabeth-Ann Thrasher, 4107 10th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $186.48. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Nicole L. Musselman, 1270 Kites Run Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without a certificate of inspection and fined $181.48. A charge of expired registration was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Thomas Christopher Stoops II, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $2,000 bond.
* Thomas P. Daugherty, 1808 Worthington St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense failure to register as a sexually violent predator and held on $25,000 bond. He was also arraigned for being a fugitive from justice out of Franklin County, Ohio for failure to register as a sex offender.
* Jason Lee Hibbitts, 1017 33rd St., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of escape and is being held without bond.
* Barry Ray Robinson, 14 Meadowbrook Acres, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.
* Megan Jewell Patterson, 1408 Liberty St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving while impaired and released on $500 bond.
* Robert Osborn Shepard, 450 St. Rt. 555, Little Hocking, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and released on $2,500 bond.
* Xavier Paul Carpenter, 705 Hall St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of leaving the scene of an accident and having no operators license and released on $1,000 bond.
* Diane Louise Pitcock, 345 Brushy Fork Road, New Milton, W.Va., pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.
* Mason Jonathan Kendall, 154 Cedar Lane, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $414.88 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.

* Eliiah Paul Hemandez, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $4,000 bond.
* Mariah Lynn West, 88 Rosemar Terrace Apt. 113, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of assault (two counts), harassment (two counts), conspiracy and telephone harassment and released on $5,000 bond.
* Eva Jo Szakats-Smith, 701 Virgil St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protective order and released on $500 bond.
* Caleb Blaine Boyles, 1602 Avery St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of battery and released on $1,500 bond.
* Wayne Sherman Bair III, 2613 1/2 9th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle and held on $15,000 bond.
* Samantha Jo Hornbeck, 2613 1/2 9th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of receiving or transferring stolen property and held on $10,000 bond.
* Zachary Lee Huck, 111 Belaire Drive, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of speeding in a school zone (15 mph over) and having no insurance.
* Milton Terrell Jasper III, 1107 19th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of obstructing an officer and released on $500 bond.
* Cassandra Jo McCarty, 608 33rd St. Apt. D, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days of home confinement.
* Austin Ward Clark, 499 Ridges Run Road, Elizabeth, had charges of battery and simple assault dismissed. The matter has been properly refiled.
* Felicity Jean Gorrell-Monroe, 426 Buck Run Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $191.48.
* William Daniel Smith, 8004 Lee Creek Road, Belleville, pleaded no contest to obstructing or impeding participation of lawful hunting, fishing or trapping and fined $476.48.
