PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Dec. 10:

* A charge of domestic was battery dismissed without prejudice against Adam Taylor Lacava, 802 Walnut St., Ravenswood.

* Two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription were dismissed against Mahria W. Hall, 155 Sunset Drive, Marietta, per a plea agreement.

* Christopher Lee Underwood, 1205 9th St. Apt. 311, Vienna, pleaded guilty to second-offense driving on a suspended license and fined $676.48.

* Elisha Michael Amos, 616 33rd St., Parkersburg, was found guilty to hunting without a license, hunting out of season and fined $392.96.

* John Robert Lyons, 1500 Broadway Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of obstruction with threats of harm was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* A charge of fraudulent schemes was dismissed without prejudice for further investigation against William Douglas Shaffer, Parkersburg,

* Joshua Ray Barton, 3 Washington Lane Apt. 12, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to failure to maintain motor vehicle insurance, driving on a suspended license and fined $652.96. A charge of improper display of registration plates was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Lester Morris Dearth, 74 Oxford Lane, Saint Marys, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license for DUI, fined $276.48 and sentenced to 30 days of home confinement.

* James Charles Bonnett, 948 DeVaughn Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to harassment, fined $176.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of stalking was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Brittany Marie Buckley, 720 29th St. Apt. 2, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. She was ordered to pay a $67.10 to the Walmart store in Vienna.

* A charge of violating a protective order dismissed against James Randall Dowler, 4415 14th Ave., Parkersburg, as the alleged victim does not want to prosecute.

* Logan Michael Hinzman, 624 31st St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm and fined $236.48.

* A charge of domestic battery was dismissed against Joseph Alan Willis, 48 Holland Ave., Parkersburg, as the alleged victim is adamant about not prosecuting and provided a written letter to the court.

* Charges of brandishing a deadly weapon and domestic assault were dismissed without prejudice against Destiny Dawn Jones, 1014 172 Gihon Road, Parkersburg, as the alleged victims did not appear in court.

* Chantz David Clark, 38 Riges Run Road, Elizabeth, was arraigned on a charge of strangulation and released on $30,000 bond.

* Sherman Lee McPherson, 129 Starr Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender and held on $1,500 bond.

* Nickea Blaine Leadman, 3210 25th St. Apt. A, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing in structure or conveyance and parking in a fire lane and released on $200 bond.

* Armani Davinci Robinson, 4616 Seventh Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of racing and released on $500 bond.

* Scott Dewayne Bush, 47 Elm St., Davisville, was arraigned on charges of driving while impaired, failure to maintain control, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, third-offense driving on a suspended license and obstructing an officer and released on $2,500 bond.

* Dustin Ray Kinney, 4363 Oak Grove Road, Walker, was arraigned on charges of attempt to commit a felony (burglary), wanton endangerment (three counts) and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and held on $75,000 bond.

* Alexis Jean Allberry, 4363 Oak Grove Road, Walker, was arraigned on charges of having no operator's license, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, failure to maintain control and having no insurance and released on $2,500 bond.

* Amber J. Howard, 3623 Packard St. Apt. 9, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to shoplifting and fined $186.48. She was ordered to pay a $179.06 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.

* Dustin Eugene Wright, 95 Shenandoah Drive, Davisville, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $196.48.

PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Dec. 11:

* Terry Dylan Stover, 626 Kenner St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on six counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Christian Addison Sterling Stukey, 557 6th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of grand larceny. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Jason Bradford, Cincinnati, Ohio, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice.

* Mitchell Steven Holt, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to destruction of property and obstruction with threats of harm, fined $422.96 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of public intoxication was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Jodi Sheree McClead, 94 Cunningham Lane, Elizabeth, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $191.48.

* Justin Michael Windland, 217 Court St., Elizabeth, pleaded no contest to speeding in a work zone and fined $196.48.

* Terry Travis Riel, 1123 Swann St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to placing lighted material on forest land and fined $276.48. A charge of littering was dismissed.

* Dana Adem Cottrill, 905 14th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $186.48. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street.

* Sundance Josie Lewis, 153 Wadesville Road, Washington, W.Va., pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $181.48.

* Caiden Lee Burke, 2608 26th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to reckless driving with no bodily injury and destruction of property, fined $552.96 and sentenced to 10 days in jail which was suspended and Burke was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.

* Terry Allen Pierce, 2023 Elm St. Apt. #2, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of burglary and held on $10,000 bond.

* Cheryl Renee Naylor, 201 Belle Meadow Drive, Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of conspiracy to commit possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (fentanyl) and released on $100,000 bond.

* Sarah Elizabeth Lane, 29 Jackson Hill Road Apt. 118, Pineville, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of obstructing an officer and fleeing and held on $1,500 bond.

* Joel Paul Inman, Hawthorne St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of public intoxication, auto tampering, petit larceny and destruction of property and held on $3,000 bond.

* Brandon Clark Price, PO Box 1, Belmont, was arraigned on charges of hunting after sunset, hunting from a motor vehicle, hunting without permission, hunting antlerless deer without an "N" stamp, obstruction and hunting within 500 feet of a dwelling and released on $3,000 bond.

* Dakota Jack Leisure, 1209 Grandview St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on nine months of unsupervised probation. Three counts of violating a protective order and one count of violating an emergency protective order were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Baylis Mason Green, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $276.48. He was ordered to pay a $219.16 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.

* Tyanna Nicole Martin, Parkersburg, was found not guilty of domestic battery during a bench trial.

* Ciera Dawn Jarvis, 1527 5th St., Richmond, Ind., pleaded guilty to fraudulent schemes, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and she was placed on two years of unsupervised probation.
