PARKERSBURG -- Two men were arrested Monday by the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force and the Parkersburg Police Department.
A PNTF press release said authorities initiated a traffic stop Monday on a vehicle occupied by Bryce Clendenin and Michael File, both residents of Parkersburg.
The stop ultimately led to a search of the vehicle. During the search, officers located a stolen firearm and over 140 grams of suspected fentanyl, the release said.
Both subjects were arrested. File was charged with possession of fentanyl with intent to deliver and person prohibited from carrying firearm. Clendenin was charged with being a fugitive from justice out of Ohio. Both subjects remain incarcerated .
The Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force is comprised of officer from the West Virginia State Police, Wood County Sheriff's Office, Parkersburg Police Department, and the Vienna Police Department.
