PARKERSBURG – The Juliana Street Bridge was shut down early this afternoon following a vehicle accident involving a fatality.

At 12:45 p.m., a supervisor at the Wood County 911 Center said there was an accident that Parkersburg Police and the Wood County Sheriff’s Department were responding to.

The supervisor said the westbound entrance would be shut down for an undetermined period. Traffic resumed about 3:45 p.m.
