Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Nov. 14:

* Cameron Mackenzie Taylor, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice per the alleged victim’s sentiments.

* Sheldon Lee Sampson, Washington, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice per the alleged victim’s sentiments.

* George Franklin Friel IV, 3850 Central Ave. Apt. #19, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of burglary. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Ronald Lee Hartley, 19 Deer Run Lane, White, Ga., pleaded guilty to hunting during closed season and fined $196.48. He had a charge of failure to field tag dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to illegal possession of wildlife and failure to check game and fined $392.96.

* Natasha Marie Copen, 18 Whited Road, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license (two counts) and fined $286.48. Charges of having no seat belt and having no insurance were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Rafael Russell Delgado, 2106 17th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $176.48. He was ordered to pay a $339.94 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna. He also pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on 12 months of unsupervised probation where he also has to undergo substance abuse treatment. He was ordered to pay a $110 civil penalty to Hibbett Sports in Vienna. He also pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on 12 months of unsupervised probation where he also has to undergo substance abuse treatment. He was ordered to pay a $74.76 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.

* Derek Douglas Oldfield, 1779 Bender Road, Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of obstruction and released on $1,000 bond.

* Shana Joy Yopp, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery (capias) and maintaining a dwelling for the use of controlled substances and released on $4,500 bond.

* Danielle Sue Kuhens, 2106 17th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance and maintaining a dwelling for the use of controlled substances and released on $2,000 bond.

* Zachary David Krieg, 4503 10th Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on charges of cruelty to animals and released on $2,000 bond.

* Angelica Aurora Belfiore, 2987 Dutch Ridge Road Apt. 20, Parkersburg, was arraigned on three counts of child neglect and held on $60,000 bond.

* Molly Beth Jones, 608 23rd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.

* Dean Troy Richard, 50095 County Road 186, Fresno, Ohio, pleaded guilty to having no valid fuel/IFTA decal and having improper registration and fined $422.96.

* Ashton A. Hutson, 1420 Spring St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no insurance and speeding violation and fined $557.96

* Taye Jamasin Singer, 2320 Fifteen Mile Creek Road, Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of battery and released on $1,000 bond.

* Esther Eugenia Barniak, 2874 Shields Hill Road, Cairo, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $701.80 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.

* Hailee Alexis Welch, 3216 Beverly Ave. NE, Canton, Ohio, pleaded guilty to speeding in a construction zone and fined $276.48.
