MARIETTA — A Tennessee man was arrested Sunday for his alleged involvement in a stabbing outside of the Adelphia Music Hall in Marietta.

Noah W. Mann, 24, of Kodak, Tenn., was arrested and charged with one count of felonious assault, according to a Marietta Police media release.

Marietta Police Chief Katie Warden stated the charge is a second-degree felony.

Officers were dispatched to 203 Second St. to the Adelphia Music Hall in reference to a fight on the sidewalk involving a knife, the release said.

Police located a male subject with a severe facial laceration, the release said, and they found Mann nearby with blunt force facial and head injuries.

Warden said the victim received “a cut to their face to their cheek area.”

Police determined Mann had been forced to leave the Adelphia due to his behavior and then he waited outside for the victim and attacked him, according to the release.

“The two fought and during a separation in the fight Mann pulled a knife and when the victim approached Mann stabbed the victim in the face,” the release said. “The victim’s friends then beat Mann unconscious.”

The victim and Mann were transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital.

“The victim is released (from the hospital) and is totally fine,” Warden said.

Mann was arrested after he received medical treatment in the hospital, according to Warden.

Washington County Jail records show Mann was arrested around 3:30 a.m. Sunday and a cash surety bond of $100,000 was set. The records do not show that the bond has been posted yet and Mann remains in the jail as of Tuesday afternoon.
