WATERFORD — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash Saturday that sent two people to the hospital.

The accident happened Saturday at the intersection of State Route 339 and County Road 805, the patrol said. A vehicle driven by a juvenile was struck in the rear by another vehicle driven by Joe Misle, the patrol said. After impact, Misle’s vehicle then went left of center striking another vehicle driven by Carla Salles, the patrol said.

Salles and the juvenile driver were transported to Camden Clark Medical Center to be evaluated for minor injuries, the patrol said. Misle failed to maintain a safe, clear distance but no citations have been issued as the accident is still under investigation, the patrol said.
