PARKERSBURG - Wood County Sheriff's deputies are looking for two suspects in a shooting that took place this evening.
Deputies responded to the scene of a shooting in the area of Center Street and Meadowview Drive off West Virginia 2 north of Parkersburg. One person was shot in the leg with what was believed to be a handgun and the wounds were not believed to be life-threatening, according to a post on the sheriff's department's Facebook page.
The suspects were described in the post as a juvenile white male, about 5-foot-6 with brown hair and a thin build, wearing a white T-shirt, and a 5-foot-10 heavyset white male of unknown age wearing a red/orange shirt.
If people see them in the area, they are asked to call 911.
