Belpre man charged with sexually assaulting juvenile

PARKERSBURG — A Belpre man has been arrested and charged with first-degree sexual assault of a juvenile following an investigation by the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.

A post on the Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page said Kevin S. Wilson, 38, of Belpre was arrested and arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court on Monday. It said Wilson was placed on a $200,000 bond to await trial.

Sheriff Rick Woodyard said the incident occurred in Wood County and that his office were the sole investigators. He said no more information would be released at this time.
