Four facing drug charges after raid in Davisville

PARKERSBURG -- Four people were arrested Wednesday on drug charges in Wood County.

The Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force, assisted by the Wood County Sheriff's Office SWAT team, executed a search warrant Wednesday at 276 Wood St., Davisville. The search warrant stemmed from a drug distribution investigation conducted by the task force.

According to a PNTF press release, once inside the residence, agents located over two pounds of methamphetamine, over an ounce of fentanyl and a large amount of U.S. currency.

Agents arrested four individuals:

* Jimmie McCully Jr., 21, of Akron, Ohio, was arrested on a charge of possession of fentanyl with intent to deliver. Wood County Magistrate Court records listed bail at $150,000.

* Katravian Sincation Dwayne Varner, 20, also of Akron, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and conspiracy. Bond was set at $200,000.

* Ashley Brooke Cottrill, 38, no address listed, was arrested on a drug conspiracy charge. Her bond was set at $50,000 according to court records.

* Eric Tennant, 30, no address listed, was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl with intent to deliver.

All four subjects remained incarcerated, the press release said.
