BELPRE -- The Belpre Police Department released the following reports on May 30:
May 17
* Paige M. Layne, 18, Belpre, was cited for speed, 70 mph in a 50 mph zone.
* Dustin C. Murray, 42, Coolville, was cited for driving under suspension.
May 18
* Sean M. Laughlin, 65, Palmetto, Fla., was cited for speed, 68 mph in a 50 mph zone.
* Matthew H. Robertson, 23, Belpre, was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail on the charge of domestic violence.
May 19
* Paige A. Tait, 33, Marietta, was cited for speed, 64 mph in a 50 mph zone.
May 20
* Terry W. Giddings, 40, Belpre, turned himself in at the Washington County Jail on a warrant out of Marietta Municipal Court for the charge of failure to comply with an order of police officer.
May 21
* Charles W. Carter, 56, Belpre, was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail on the charges of strangulation and disrupting public service.
May 22
* Harry C. Irvine, 79, Belpre, was cited for disorderly conduct.
May 27
* Layne P. Schaad, 20, Marietta, was cited for speed, 69 mph in a 50 mph zone.
* Robert M. Moneypenny, 50, Parkersburg, was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail on a failure to appear warrant out of Belpre Mayor's Court.
May 28
* David L Rowe, 47, Belpre, was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail on a contempt of court warrant from Gallipolis Municipal Court on the charge of assault.
