PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 24:
* Zachary Michael Harman, 800 18th St., Vienna, had a charge of petit larceny dismissed after completing a deferred sentence.
* Dustin Ray Kinney, 4363 Oak Grove Road, PO Box 31, Walker, pleaded guilty to a charge of assault of a government employee and/or medical personnel, fined $176.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and he was placed on 18 months of unsupervised probation. A charge of fleeing from an officer was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Jacqueline Ann Wilson, 225 Russel Ave., New Martinsville Care Center, New Martinsville, had a charge of possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed as the state does not wish to proceed with the case.
* Chadwick Myron Norman, Parkersburg had a charge of joyriding dismissed after the alleged victim did not want to move forward with the case and the state does not wish to proceed.
* Sarah Jennifer Davis, 3 Brown Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty for illegally following an emergency vehicle and fined $201.48.
* Tara Ellen King, 1208 Lockwood St. Apt. A, Belpre, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. She was ordered to pay a $619.80 civil penalty to Walmart. She had charges of shoplifting and trespassing dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Bryan Andrew Wenmoth, 1427 30th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. Charges of carrying a deadly weapon without a license by someone under 21, driving without a valid driver’s license and contributing to the delinquency of a minor were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Erik Jordan Estrada Jonas, 717 Riverview Dr. Apt. 205, Belmont, pleaded guilty to having no proof of insurance and driving on a suspended license and fined $652.96.
* Kelsey Marie Morrison, 11 James Court, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving in an impaired state and battery against government representatives, health care providers, utility workers, law-enforcement and EMS, fined $537.96 and sentenced to eight hours in jail as well as 6 months in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. She had a charge of battery against government representatives, health care providers, utility workers, law-enforcement and EMS (two counts), disorderly conduct and failure to process and obstruction dismissed.
* Justin Gregory Williams, 407 Locust Court, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of petit larceny, obstruction (false statement) and held on $1,000 bond.
* Christina Dawn Melrose, 1232 Bull Run Road, Waverly, was arraigned on charges of expired registration and having no MVI and released on $250 bond.
* Steven Matthew Mulinex, 1300 Rayon Dr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (meth) with intent to deliver and held on $50,000 bond.
* Gina Nicole Hand, 806½ Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of grand larceny and held on $5,000 bond.
* Shawn Michael Miller, 120 Mineral park Lane, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of driving on a suspended license for DUI and released on $500 bond.
* Chasity Latoshia Williams-Peach, 1103 36th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of having no operator’s license and released on $500 bond.
* Carl Eugene Spradlin, 2505 New York Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of letting dogs run at large and released on $500 bond.
* Shannon Nichole Bean, 307 Mineral Manor Way, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of reckless driving and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and released on $2,000 bond.
* Brandon Thomas Sees, 1796 Little Kanawha Rd., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $196.48
