Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Feb. 2-4:

* Michael David Sams, Lot 60 Meadowbrook Acres, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of third-offense shoplifting, battery of a government representative or healthcare personnel (three counts) and assault of government representative or healthcare personnel and obstruction and held on $3,500 bond.

* Rusty Buck Morris, 1015 18th St., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and held on $500 bond.

* Joshua Allen Chipps, 802½ Camden Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of fleeing on foot, reckless driving and third-offense driving on a suspended license and released on $1,500 bond.

* Brittney Michelle Wilson, 512 Highland Ave., Mullens, was arraigned on charges of forgery and shoplifting and held on $26,000 bond.

* Kristopher Michael Williamson, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Jefferson County, Ohio, on a charge of second-degree felonious assault. He was being held without bond.

* Joshua Nathaniel Blake, 755 Pond Creek Road, Rockport, was arraigned on charges of malicious assault and child abuse resulting in injury and released on $20,000 bond.

* Richard Milton Starkey, 916 33rd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance in Wood County and eight counts of failure to register in Kanawha County and held on $41,000 bond.

* Juan Vazquez, 41, Bosley Parkway, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of aggravated DUI and having no proof of insurance and released on $4,000 bond.

* Kody James Fiest, 898 Cedar Grove Rd., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of third-offense driving on a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance and released on $2,000 bond.

* Dustin Chyenne Lamp, 790 Summit Road, Vienna, was arraigned on charges of harassment (two counts) and harassment in violation of a protective order (two counts) and released on bond.

* Bobby Everett Owens, 1200 37th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and released on $2,000 bond.

* Randy Lloyd Brant, 2245 Highway 48 North, Dixon, Tenn., was arraigned on a charge of fleeing while DUI and held on $150,000 bond.

* Orman Lee Blackman II, 55 Oak St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license (two counts) and expired registration and released on $1,000 bond.

* Kayla Rose Shoemaker, 117 Morningside Circle, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of child neglect that creates a substantial risk of bodily injury and released on $1,000 bond.

* Sarah Ashley Wilson, 1017 18th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense shoplifting and released on $500 bond.

* Lissa Ann Hefner, 93 Emerald Dr., Davisville, was arraigned on charges of second-offense shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Michelle Louise Brothers, 711 Eighth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of DUI (drugs) and possession of a controlled substance (two counts) and released on $2,000 bond.

* Elizabeth Dawn Thompson, 2938 New Store Ridge Road, Ripley, was arraigned on a charge of aggravated DUI and released on $750 bond.

* Dakota Lane Wilfong, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and Wilfong was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. Wilfong had a charge of strangulation dismissed pursuant to another case. Wilfong must attend alcohol/substance abuse and anger management treatment.

* Ethan Edward Rolland Kelly, 2106 16th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of fleeing law-enforcement while under the influence. The case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Dana Adam Cottrill, 905 14th St., Parkersburg, had a charge of petit larceny dismissed as the alleged victim no longer wishes to prosecute.

* Elzie Leo Williams II, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fleeing from an officer, obstruction and fined $261.48. He had a charge of obstruction dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to fleeing from law enforcement (two counts), fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which runs concurrent with another charge. Two counts of shoplifting and a count of obstruction were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* James Parrish Shockey, 18 Falls St., Williamstown, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.

* Patricia Lea Rice, 3438 Morehead Ridge, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.

* Jason Phillip Glover, 190 Kings Grant Drive, Rutherfordton, N.C., pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.

* Noah Douglas Holbert, 2800 25th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage and fined $186.48.

* Dena Lynn Gault, 1645 E. Poplar St., Davisville, pleaded guilty to having no seatbelt and fined $25. A charge of operating a vehicle without registration was dismissed after proof was presented to the court.

* Robert Levi Horton, 3001 City View Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and having no registration and fined $362.96.

* Rodger M. Gamble, 1130 Caldwell St., McMechen, W.Va., pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.

* Brian Matthew Foggin, 3105 14th Ave., Vienna, pleaded guilty to driving too fast for roadway conditions and fined $181.48.
