PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Jan. 26-28:

* Amber Elayne Hall, 535 Hill Rd., Bartlett, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $181.48.

* Jayden Lee McMullen, 7 Westview Circle, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no operators license and fined $181.48. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed after proof was presented in court.

* Ramon Victor Armendariz-Brown, Pennsboro, was arraigned on a charge of breaking and entering and held on $25,000.

* Jessica Dawn Woodyard, 1630 Ridgeway Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of burglary and held on $20,000 bond.

* John Wesley Kellaway, 77075 Hawthorne Rd., Cadiz, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and held on $5,000 bond.

* Courtney Noel Hutson, 1519 Wilbur St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving on a suspended license and having no child restraint and released on $250 bond.

* Sharolyn Ann Johnson, 2603 24th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of worthless check and released on $200 bond.

* Matthew S. McComas, 413 East 8th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.

* David Jon Tibbs II, 173 Chateau Hills, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting and trespassing and fined $1,000 bond.

* Archer Benjamin Leasure, 1314 36th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and released on $500 bond.

* Randy Jay Ballengee, 424 Farrow Hill Rd., Davisville, was arraigned on charges of violating a domestic violence protection order and violation of a financial exploitation order of a protected person and released on $2,000 bond.

* Brandon James Lott, 2201 Meadowview Dr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and released on $500 bond.

* Charley Glenn Hutson, 915 19th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting, less than $500, and released on $250 bond.

* Carter Thomas Stacy, 1624 Hill St., Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of having a concealed deadly weapon with no license, driving on a suspended license, having no insurance and obstruction and released on $2,000 bond.

* Jennie Marie Burdette, 4400 Grand Central Ave., Apt. 1, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of DUI, obstruction, leaving the scene of an accident, going left of center and driving on a revoked license for DUI and released on $2,500 bond.

* Jessie Fae Nichols, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to battery of a government official, health care providers, utility workers, law-enforcement and EMS, fined $452.96 and sentenced to 30 days in jail. A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed, per a plea agreement. Nichols also pleaded guilty to trespassing and fined $452.96. A charge of obstruction with threats of harm was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Shane Maxwell Wilson, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of domestic violence, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation with a credit of nine days for time served. He had a charge of strangulation dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Thomas Dewayne Canterbury, 1958 PeeWee Hill Rd., Sandyville, was arraigned on a charge of reckless driving and driving on a suspended license and released on $1,000 bond.

* Mark Mason Somerville, 17 Painters Crossing, Williamstown, was arraigned on a charge of driving impaired with a BAC of less than .15 and released on $1,500 bond.

* Kyle Ryan Holbert, 153 Chateau Hills Court, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct and released on $500 bond.

PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Jan. 29:

* Aaron Matthew Ewing, 47 Gihon Meadows Dr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and released on $1,000 bond.

* Billy Joe Davis, 2605 Core Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense driving on a revoked license for DUI and released on $2,500 bond.

* Elzie Lee Williams II, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of fleeing from an officer and fleeing/obstruction and held on $1,500 bond.

* Mack Robinette III, 10870 St. Route 821, Lower Salem, was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance and released on $2,000 bond.

* James Earl Bee, 35 Gardenia Dr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and released on $2,000 bond.

* Justin Allen Collins, 34 Ross Road Lot #22, Waverly, was arraigned on a charge of driving on a suspended license (two counts), having no proof of insurance and expired registration and released on $1,000 bond.

* Clinton Michael Norris, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of York County, Virginia, for possession of dangerous drugs and was being held without bond.

* Jarrod Vincent Moore, 506½ Hawthorne St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for charges of manufacture or possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II controlled substance narcotic or meth and attempt to commit a felony. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Steven Slater 1807½ Seventh Ave., Charleston, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of escape or attempted escape.

* Zachary Michael Scott Ball, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic assault dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim does not wish to pursue.

* Melissa D. Cunningham, 804 Hocking Road, Belpre, pleaded guilty to worthless check and fined $196.48. She was ordered to pay a $675.59 civil penalty to Miller Communications.

* Cara Beth Munday, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 20 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.

* James Allen Dragoo, 2176 Slate Run Rd., Belleville, pleaded guilty to having no insurance and fined $376.48. A charge of driving on a suspended license was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Amy Lynn Good, 142 Warner St., Marietta, pleaded guilty to driving too fast for roadway conditions and fined $181.48.

* Casey Tyler Layton, 5683 Dupont Rd., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no insurance, operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $557.96.

* Lindsay Nicole James, 151 Gregg Lane, Walker, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. She was ordered to pay a $125.80 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.
