PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Jan. 2:
* Jason Stuart Mills, 4 Mitchells Way, Washington, pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked license and fined $276.48.
* Jacob Allen Marshall, 29524 Sawyers Run Road, Coolville, pleaded guilty to having defective equipment and fined $181,48.
* Lori Beth Swiger, 129 Star Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked license and fined $276.48.
* Jonathan Stephen Burke, 805 Quarry St., Marietta, pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked license and fined $276.48.
* Kiera Jade McCoy, PO Box 831, Ravenswood, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.
* Garin Paul Miller, 459 Elizabeth Pike, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and having no proof of insurance and fined $557.96.
* David Samuel Fitzgerald, 1059 Silver Globe Road, Marietta, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $226.48.
* Tiffany Nicole James, 56 Ash Circle, Davisville, pleaded guilty to speeding in a school zone and fined $276.48. A charge of having expired registration was dismissed, per a plea agreement
* Joseph Wayne Cubbison, 3885 Ireland Rd. Coolville, pleaded guilty to reckless driving, fined $486.48 and sentenced to 10 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed.
* Jeffery Lee Fulkerson, 2244 Pond Creek Road, Belleville, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $376.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Justin Charles Bigley, 1206 Swann St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a bicycle at less than normal speed along the edge of a roadway, fined $186.48 and sentenced to two hours of community service. Charges of operation of a bicycle on a roadway without proper brakes and operating a bicycle at night without proper lamps and reflectors were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Billy James Peck, 1041 24th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense DUI, fined $1,441.48 and placed on nine months of home confinement with a credit of one day for time served.
* Corey Keith Moore, 540 Congleton Ridge Rd., Wingett Run, Ohio, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. Charges of having no proof of insurance, improper registration and having no insurance were dismissed as the state no longer wished to pursue due to the age of the case.
* Janice L. Handschumaker, 9109 Slate Creek Rd., Rockport, had a charge of operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate dismissed.
* Heather Necole Hayes, 601 Stephenson Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked license for DUI, fined $276.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail.
* Michaelle Elizabeth Hutson, 1420 Spring St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Steven Curtis Balderson, 1715 Elizabeth Pike, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to speeding (80 mph in a 70 mph zone) and fined $186.48. He had a charge of having no registration dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Stacy Dawn Eddleblute, 3106 Fourth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, $176.48 and sentenced to 20 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.. She was ordered to pay a $348.26 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg. She also cannot return to Walmart. A charge of trespassing was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Alfred Wayne Dye Jr., 506 42nd St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Shannon Delores Caplinger, 809 Edgelawn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and fined $201.48. She was ordered to pay a civil liberty of $61.26 to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.
* Kiela Shrawn Dye, 1915 Princeton St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to child abuse-failure to register, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail with a credit of 14 days for time served to run concurrent with parole hold.
* James Robert Kipe, 1011 25th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail. He was ordered to pay a $175.30 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and fined $201.48. A charge of possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Domingo Albino Ortiz Jr., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to petit larceny and domestic battery, fined $417.96 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Stephanie Ann Whaley, 1115 15th St., Parkersburg, had a charge of first-degree robbery dismissed without prejudice after the alleged victim did not appear in court.
* Michael Dana Jozwick II, 1252 Gihon Rd., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of joyriding and petit larceny and released on $1,500 bond.
* Ronnie Jay Mahar, 736 Hope Hill Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct and failure to process and released on $2,000 bond.
* Joseph Edward Perine, 630 Lulu St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license and having no insurance and released on $1,000 bond.
* Isaac Gerald Goodwin, 1104 39th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of reckless driving and improper registration and released on $1,000 bond.
* Heather Dawn Corbin, 266 Mitchells Lane, Washington, was arraigned on charges of having expired registration and no insurance and released on $500 bond.
* Cody Michael Cownden, Cameron, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and violation of a protective order and released on $2,000 bond.
* Gage Robert Foutty, 1208 25th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of grand larceny and transferring/receiving stolen property and held on $25,000 bond.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Jan. 3:
* Andrew Stanfill Knight, 112 Valley Mills Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no insurance and fined $376.48.
* Devin Michael Moore, 33665 St. Rt. 26, Rinard Mills, Ohio, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.
* Kacea Jo Lambert, 510 Nicely Place Apt. 8, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $191.48.
* Jakob Wesley Eastham, 8822 Staunton Turnpike, Walker, pleaded guilty to maintaining a vehicle to keep a controlled substance, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of manufacture/deliver/possess with intent to manufacture/deliver a Schedule I, II, III, other controlled substance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Bradford D. Tallman, 1022 Garfield Road, Palestine, had charges of expired registration and no MVI dismissed after valid proof of both were obtained and presented to the court. A charge of having no proof of insurance was also dismissed.
* Aiden Michael Flanagan, 299 Franklin St., Parkersburg, had a charge of violating a domestic violence order dismissed without prejudice. The state does not wish to proceed due to the sentiments of the alleged victim. He also pleaded guilty to DUI, fined $361.48 and had time ruled as served with no actual time served.
* Josie Rae Curfman, 47 Wildoat Dr., Davisville, had a charge of indecent exposure dismissed after Curfman completed a deferred adjudication agreement.
* Herbert Bess III, 1000 Kemper St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 14 days in jail retro. A charge of trespassing was dismissed, per a plea agreement. He had a preliminary hearing waived on two counts of failure to register as a sex offender. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Garrett Clark Smith, 1500 West Virginia Ave., Dunbar, had a charge of possession dismissed after completing a treatment program.
* Joseph Allen Foutty, 3312 Second Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI, fined $351.48 and sentenced to 10 days of home confinement.
* Keisha Danielle Abbott, 44 Hummingbird Lane, St. Marys, pleaded guilty to DUI, fined $386.48 and sentenced to 10 days home confinement to be served in Pleasants County.
* Christy Dawn Smith, 13 Joyce Dr., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. Charges of traffic-control signal violation and operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Gretchen Lee Barker, 11 Edgeview Lane Apt. 202, Harrisville, had charges of driving on a suspended license, having no seatbelts and having no proof of insurance dismissed as the state does not wish to proceed.
* Emmy S. Flowers, 510 Nicely Place, Apt. 4, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to improper registration and fined $181.48. She had charges of having no registration, having no seatbelts and having no proof of insurance dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Steven Michael Nowlin, 628½ 33rd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on six counts of third-offense shoplifting and held on $15,000 bond.
* Albert Eugene Adkins Jr., 28 Electric Ave., Belleville, was arraigned on two counts of attempted murder, two counts of attempted malicious assault and two counts of wanton endangerment and was held on $250,000 bond.
* William Thomas Cunningham, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and held on $2,000 bond.
* Kyle Justin Vanhoy, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 bond.
* Jacob Allen Koon, 382 Left Fork Buck Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of speeding, reckless driving , no MVI and having expired registration and released on $800 bond.
* Bailey Eugene Keel, 1310 Oak St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and third-offense driving on a suspended license and released on $500 bond.
* Trampus Ray Burdette, 1449 Missouri Run Rd., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of making a false report, obstruction and battery of an officer and released on $1,500 bond.
* Jessica Dawn Woodward, 1630 Ridgeway Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of destruction of property, obstruction and failure to process and held on $1,500 bond.
