PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court Nov. 28:

* Elisha Ceylon Cross, 154 Dee St., Waverly, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.

* Samantha J. Hickel, 21 Worthington Trailer Park Road #3, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and released on $500 bond.

* Austin Christopher Smith, 2402 Clement Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense shoplifting, less than $500, and released on $1,000 bond.

* Eric Lee Dillon, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of unlawful removal, destruction of property and released on $1,000 bond.

* Mary Catherine Hughes, 1002 19th St. Apt. 10, Vienna, was arraigned on charges of driving while impaired and obstructing an officer and released on $2,000 bond.

* Xavier Thomas Keye, 268 Crown Manor Circle Apt. #34, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and obstructing an officer and released on $2,000 bond.

* Bobby Allen Finley, 1306 Grandview Manor, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of DUI in an impaired state, fined $351.48 and sentenced to 30 days home confinement. A charge of possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Russell Lee Traugh, 1905 Plum St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Michael Lynn Mumaw, 7641 Pike St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to child neglect by parent, fined $286.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. Another charge of child neglect was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Sullivan Andrew Wilson, 3593 Loomis Ridge Rd., Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed after completing a six-month diversion program.

* Michael Dana Jozwick II, c/o 183 Wigal Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic assault, fined $176.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He was also ordered to seek counseling and treatment.

* Noel Lawrence Avery, 2654 Harvey Road, Huntington, pleaded guilty to battery, fined $186.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. Charges of obstruction and harassment were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Paul Michael Marsolek, 455 Augusta Dr., Huntington, pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription and fined $276.48. A charge of destruction of property was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Todd Brian Wilson, 845 Lynch Church Rd., Marietta, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $196.48.

* Kegan James Devaughn, 278 Valley Mills Road, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.

* Perry R. Knopp, 121 E. 5th St., Williamstown, pleaded guilty to speeding in a construction zone and fined $196.48.

* Adan Dallas Willis, 5909 Rocky Step Road, Winfield, pleaded guilty to having an unsafe and improperly equipped vehicle and fined $186.48.

* Alicia Nell Hubbard, 9322 Federal Road, Little Hocking, pleaded guilty to speeding in a school zone and fined $181.48.

* Matthew Kyle Hall, 2016 16th St. Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting, possession of a controlled substance (meth) and fined $402.96. He was ordered to pay a $252.74 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.

* Kourtney Ann Norris, 726 Smitherman Rd., Washington, pleaded guilty to having a controlled substance on an access site and fined $196.48.

* Glenda Cheryl Watson, 11149 Staunton Turnpike, Walker, pleaded guilty to speeding in a construction zone and fined $181.48.

* Brayden Scott Brewer, 4308 Uhl St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on 99 counts of violation of a domestic violence protection order and held on $35,500 bond.

* Nathaniel David Randolph, 3516 Burk St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction and fined $226.48. Charges of public intoxication and trespassing were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
