PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Nov. 6:

* Jess Douglas Day, 1016 17th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to assault on a government employee and/or medical personnel, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. A charge of obstructing was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Billy Ray Murray, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstructing, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 10 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. A charge of trespassing was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Spring Diane Thorn-Stoops, 877 Dry Run Road, Parkersburg, had a charge of misdemeanor violation of a protective order dismissed without prejudice.

* Ozzy Benjamin David Huffman, 1239 Lynn St., Parkersburg, had a charge of grand larceny dismissed without prejudice after the alleged victim did not appear in court.

* Chelsea Dawn Morris, 94 Rolling Hills Court, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of driving under the influence (felony death) and felony DUI with serious bodily injury. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Josh M. Miller, 1928 Princeton St., Parkersburg, had two counts of worthless check dismissed as it was a stale warrant and the state does not wish to prosecute.

* Darwin Alexander Velasquez-Careamo, 12 Brandi Dr., Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to DUI with a BAC of equal or greater than .15, fined $506.48 and sentenced to 4 months of home confinement. He had a charge of driving while license revoked for DUI dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Jason James Littleton, 606 Division St., Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance (meth) dismissed.

* Zachariah Alan Schneider, 13046 Lee Creek Road, Rockport, pleaded guilty to causing statutory pollution and fined $376.48.

* Kevin Leroy Barnes, 2601 Shoreline Dr. Apt. A 10, Akron, Ohio, pleaded guilty to DUI in an impaired state, fined $351.48 and sentenced to seven hours and 46 minutes which was credited for time served. He had a charge of driving on a suspended license dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Amanda Jane Queen, 2918 Newbury Rd., Little Hocking, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 bond.

* Jerrianne Krystal Myers, 2581 New England Ridge Road, Washington, was arraigned on charges of second-offense shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.

* Charles David Amore, 3925 19th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.

* Richard Allen Tucker, 4806 Ninth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Tiffany Nicole James, 56 Ash Circle, Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of speeding in a school zone, 35 mph in a 15 mph zone, and expired registration and released on $1,000 bond.

* Joseph Allen Foutty, 3312 Second Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving while impaired with a BAC of equal or greater than .15 and released on $2,000 bond.

* Landon Nile Flinn, 793 Meadville Road, Davisville, had a charge of DUI dismissed after completing Interlock program and successfully completed the deferred proceedings.

* Kevin B. Roe, 54780 Opossum Run Rd., Senecaville, Ohio, pleaded no contest to failure to obtain a CDL and fined $276.48.

* Carmoleta G. Stoneking, 206 Rosemar Heights, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to selling beer to someone under 21 and fined $201.48.

* Melonee Barbara Green, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.

* Levi James Lake, 12 Pennock Trailer Court, Beverly, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.

* Phillip Wayne Duley, 1110 17th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $186.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.

* Ryan James Blair, 1022 38th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.

* Catinna Lashette Brewington, 1104 MBA Court, Concord, N.C., pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.

* Mathew Glenn Morris, 528 Crab Run Road, Smithville, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.
