Marietta city election results
With 100% of votes accounted for in 10 Marietta precincts, incumbents Mayor Joshua Schlicher, Council President Susan Vessels and Auditor Sherri Hess all retained their posts in Tuesday’s unofficial general election results.
In the Council-at-Large races, where the top three out of five are winners, incumbents Harley Noland and Cassidi Shoaf are returning and newcomer Ben Rutherford will be replacing William Farnsworth.
At just before 9 p.m., the vote percentages were:
Mayor of Marietta, Joshua Schlicher 69.32%, Ann Labes 29.93 %, write-in candidate Ari Gold/David Labes 0%, 3,625 total votes.
President of Council, Susan Vessels 53.83%, David Grande 46.17%, 3,587 total votes.
City Auditor, Sherri Hess 66.57%, Alison Arocho 33.43 %, 3,539 total votes.
Council At Large seats (top three elected): Harley Noland, 21.60%, Cassidi Shoaf 20.80%, Ben Rutherford 20.21%, William Farnsworth 19.99% and Kevin Paskawych, 17.40%, total of 8,194 votes.
