PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on October 20-22:

* Wendy Jo Bennett, 434 Blennerhassett Hts., Washington, pleaded guilty to having no seat belts and fined $25. A charge of operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate was dismissed after proof of a certificate was presented in court.

* Brandy Nicole Maynard, 22 Cross St., Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.

* Charles Allen Maynard, 22 Cross St., Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.

* Shaun Nathaniel Walcutt, 1802 Staunton Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to unlawful disposal of litter and fined $226.48.

* James Everett Wells, 821 Quincy St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $181.48.

* Joshua Adam Kennedy, 829 Drake Dr., Norman, Oka., pleaded guilty to speeding (29 mph in a 35 mph zone) and fined $276.48.

* Zyques Rasheed Sellers, 4711 Patriot Lane, Apt. C 10, Florence, S.C., pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.

* Ty Edward Green, 577 Nicolette Road, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for nine counts of cruelty to animals (Torture-Felony). The case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court. He pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license, having no proof of insurance and fined $652.96. Charges of having fraudulent MVI and improper registration were dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to prohibitions for solid waste disposal, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 8 days in jail which was ruled as time served.

* Brian Michael Sams, 451 Alpine St., Mineral Wells, had a preliminary hearing waived for illegal entry. The case was transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Shannon William Shrewsbury, Williamson, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $196.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.

* Mark Andrew Ramsey, #1 Lois Lane, Greenwood, had a preliminary hearing waived for two counts of manufacture/deliver/possess with intent to manufacture/deliver a Schedule I or II Narcotic. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* James Michael David Herrington, 705 Hall St. Apt. 7, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of escape or attempted escape. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Brian Bradley Wright, 615 Pike St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of grand larceny and fraudulent use of an access device and held on $15,000 bond.

* Tracie Nikole Hutchinson, 2095 Rocky Point Road, Flemming, Ohio, was arraigned on charges of obstruction, driving on a suspended license, improper turn and nine counts of cruelty to animals and held on $19,500 bond.

* Ozzy Benjamin David Huffman, 1239 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of grand larceny and held on $5,000 bond.

* Isaac Kealoha Ikaika Mausali, 1736 Mathoit St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of fleeing with reckless indifference and released on $5,000 bond.

* John Thomas Buchanan, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice from Washington County, Ohio, on a parole violation. A hearing will be set in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Robert William Jones, 11900 Lancaster St., Millersport, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of grand larceny and held on $5,000 bond.

* Chance Gardner Menking, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of grand larceny and held on $50,000 bond.

* Christopher Michael Williams, 40 Prince Court Kings Row, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of breaking and entering and held on $5,000 bond.

* Anthony Lee Givens, 1110 Edwin St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to deliver (Fentanyl) and held on $50,000 bond.

* John Thomas Buchanan, 2691 New England Ridge Rd., Washington, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense driving on a revoked license for DUI and held on $2,000 bond.

* Julie Ann Powers, Seymour, Ind., was arraigned on charges of domestic assault and disorderly conduct and released on $4,000 bond.

* Drew Mackenzie Marshall Smith, 409 5th St., Lowell, Ohio, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of shoplifting, a capias warrant for shoplifting and released on $3,000.

* James Allen Dragoo, 2176 Slate Run Road, Belleville, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance and driving on a suspended license and released on $1,000 bond.

* Austin Cole Smith, 46 River View Acres, Washington, was arraigned on charges of speeding and having no insurance and released on $2,000 bond.

* Marce Erin Phinnessee, 701 Callis Oval Apt. C., Akron, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Jessica Renee Trussell, 211 Dempsey Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 bond.

* Cara Beth Mundy, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $500 bond.

* Adam Joseph Klimas, 2407 33rd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of DUI, possession of a controlled substance, obstruction and released on $1,500 bond.
