MARIETTA -- The Business Professionals of America at the Washington County Career Center has elected chapter officers.
The chapter includes students from the Digital Marketing and Graphic Design & Video Production programs.
Officers for the 2023-24 school year are:
Co-President Elias Amash, a senior from Marietta enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. He is the son of Roland Amash of Lowell and Christina Amash of Williamstown.
Co-President Mya Miller, a senior from Warren enrolled in the Digital Marketing program. She is the daughter of Bill and Stacy Miller of Marietta.
Treasurer Haley Travis, a senior from Marietta enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. She is the daughter of Harvey Travis of Marietta and Robin Stevens of Marietta.
Secretary Haddon Lockyer, a senior from Marietta enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. He is the son of Todd and Amanda Lockyer of Marietta.
Historian Ava McKown, a senior from Fort Frye enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. She is the daughter of Shelly McKown of Beverly and the granddaughter of Virginia McKown of Beverly.
Parliamentarian Mariah Berry, a senior from Marietta enrolled in the Graphic Design & Video Production program. She is the daughter of Tony and Carrie Mugrage of Marietta.
Information Technology programs are a combination of high-level academic courses and state-of-the-art technology courses. The programs of instruction provide opportunities for students to prepare for and achieve career objectives in business and computer occupations. Business Professionals of America is a student organization for high school and college students that helps prepare for a world-class workforce.
