PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court Sept. 5:
* Christopher Paul Lovelace, c/o 304 Maple Fork Rd., Mount Hope, had probable cause found on a charge of burglary. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Paige Marnece Price, 711 13th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of third-offense shoplifting. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Christopher Adam Washer, 44315 Miles Ave., Cleveland, had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of manufacture/deliver possess with intent to manufacture/deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Michael J. Gibbs, 2211 23rd. St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to worthless check and fined $257.18.
* Kaylan Renea Wallace, c/o 12270 State Route 60, Lowell, pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation with inpatient drug treatment. She had charges of possession of a controlled substance and another charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Kathy Louise Scartozzi, 1102 Juliana St. Apt. B, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to reckless driving, shoplifting penalties, less than $500, fined $377.96 and sentenced to 60 days of home confinement. She was ordered to pay a $115.96 civil penalty to Kroger in Parkersburg.
* Jessica Nicole Hayes, 620 32nd St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, speeding and fined $392.96.
* Keiran James Spader, 803 Ruble Ave., Belpre, pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked license for DUI, fined $286.48 and sentenced to three months in jail with a credit of 20 days for time served. Another charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription was dismissed.
* Monica Marie McMurray, 1509 Crescent St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction, fined $211.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Jennie Marie Burdette, 4400 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, pleaded guilty to DUI, fined $361.48 and sentenced to four hours in jail.
* Phillip Graig Smith, 54 Horse Run Road, Elizabeth, was arraigned on a charge of first-offense shoplifting and released on $500 bond.
* Eric Michael Yeater, 2779 State Route 144, Coolville, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protective order and released on $1,000 bond.
* Levi Travis Harris, 806 Spring Run Road, Arnoldsburg, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and released on $1,000 bond.
* Brian Michael Mason, 2519 Seebert Road, Hillsboro, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $1,500 bond.
* Carrie Dawn Durst, 984 Teen Run Road, Crown City, Ohio was arraigned on two counts of shoplifting and released on $1,500 bond.
* Veronica Sue Walls, 199 Hales Landing, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to having expired registration and fined $181.48.
* Robert McFarland, 330 Mt Carmel Ridge Rd., St. Marys, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.
* Nicole Danielle Richards, 1050 Hartly Ridge, Brohard, pleaded no contest to speed limitations and fined $276.48.
* Brittany Jo Selvage, 340 N Church St., Ripley, pleaded guilty to having no seatbelt and fined $25.
* Raymond Michael Jones, 2702 Hampton St., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to having no seatbelt and fined $25.
* Damon Shawn Gandee, 278 Dickens Dr., Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $308.06 civil penalty to Walmart in Vienna.
* Charles David Amore, 3925 10th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $186.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to Walmart. A charge of trespassing was dismissed.
* Jessica Nicole Hayes, 620 32nd St., Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription dismissed.
* Alicia Renae Reese, 77 Milbranch Road, Belpre, pleaded guilty to procuring gas, water or electricity, by device with intent to defraud, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 12 months in jail with a credit of 11 days for time served. He had a charge of burglary dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Justin Robert Morrison, 107 Dry Run Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of fraudulent schemes and released on $5,000 bond.

PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court Sept. 6:
* Duane Eric Hamrick, 2429 Blennerhassett Heights, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of strangulation and held on $100,000 bond.
* James Jeremy Weltner, 1629 Badgley Fork Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and held on $50,000 bond.
* Alexander Joseph Clark, 2437 Wells Lock Road, Elizabeth, was arraigned on a charge of burning of refuse and released on $1,000 bond.
* Jerrianne Krystal Myers, Coolville, pleaded guilty to a charge of domestic battery, fined $211.48 and sentenced to 10 days in jail which was ruled as time served.
* Jerry Lee Caldwell, 2095 Rocky Point Road, Fleming, Ohio, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license, possessing a controlled substance without a prescription and fined $477.96.
* Jason L. Criswell, 223 Antioch Road, Little Hocking, pleaded no contest to having no seatbelt and fined $25.
* Alexsandra Lynn Murray, 35 Roy Jemes Dr., Morgantown, pleaded guilty to speed limitations and fined $186.48.
* Channing Roman Greenleaf, 2300 Pennsylvania Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $196.48.
* Taylor Paige Heath, 612 Market St., Spencer, pleaded guilty to speed limitations and fined $181.48.
* Charles Wayne Davis Jr.. PO Box 12, pleaded guilty to having no operators license, operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $362.96.
* Steven C. Trent, 182 Oakhurst Dr., Munroe Falls, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.
* Zane Randal Mathis, 2507 Cleveland Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed after proof was presented.
* Eric James Wilson, 3413 Central Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to unauthorized acts with regard to wildlife without a license or permit and fined $196.48.
* Justin Tyler Simon, 2987 Dutch Ridge Rd., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no seatbelt and fined $25.
* Sasha Maria Marks, 1204 Forshey Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to speed limitations and fined $226.48.
* Hannah Rose Craig, 211 East Spring St., Marietta, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $196.48.
