PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court June 1:
* Donald Eugene Higgins, 1205 Liberty St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance, improper registration, driving on a suspended license and having no MVI sticker and released on $500 bond.
* Josie M. Flesher, 90 Mountaineer Dr., Williamstown, was arraigned on charges of expired registration and having no proof of insurance and released on $1,000 bond.
* James Allen Brothers, 1215 23rd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of embezzlement and released on $500 bond.
* Richard Dale Williams, 816 East Fork, Dingess, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of public intoxication and obstructing an officer and held on $1,000 bond.
* Gabrielle C. Walker, 1301 Ridgeway Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of child neglect with risk of injury and released on $500 bond.
* Heather Kay Kerns, 508 Bear Creek Rd., Lowell, was arraigned on a charge of having no insurance and released on $500 bond.
* Brandon David Holbert, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and held on $500 bond.
* Katrina Elizabeth Miragliotta, 1109 1/2 19th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of a violation of a protective order and released on $500 bond.
* Erik Richard Kirksey, 368 Dublin Rd.,, Apt. #23, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) with intent to deliver and held on $25,000 bond.
* Michael Clayton Boley, 171 Meadows Mobile Home Park, Parkersburg, had a charge of strangulation dismissed as the alleged victim failed to appear at a preliminary hearing.
* Mario Anthony Puma, 4504 Packard St., Williamstown, had probable cause found for a charge of grand larceny and the case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Katherine Arnetta Jean Harbison, 1131 1/2 Swann St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $170.25 and sentenced to six months in jail which was ruled as time served. She was ordered to pay a $75.68 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.
* Shawn M. Malone, 1907 Steven St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no seatbelt and fined $25.
* Charles Lee Trippett, 10070 Elizabeth Pike, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and fined $190.25.
* Amy W. Hogan, 11945 Brooks Mill Road, Charlotte, NC, pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription and fined $180.25. She had a charge of possession of Oxycodone dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Matthew Adam Henry, 1416 Grand Avenue, Wellsburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of burglary. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Jesse Glenn Jameson, 128 Bobcat Ridge, Cairo, pleaded guilty to a charge of battery, fined $170.25 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on unsupervised probation for six months. Consideration of restitution will be left open for 60 days. He also pleaded guilty to shoplifting penalities (less than $500) and fined $180.25. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty to the 7-11 store at 1206 Grand Central Ave. in Vienna.
* Ashley Nichole Kreh, 153 Dickens Dr., Apt. 26, Mineral Wells, pleaded guiltyto speed limitations and fined $270.25.

PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court June 2-4:
* Amanda Jean Pauley, 2630 Elizabeth Pike, Mineral Wells, pleded guilty to speed limitations and fined $175.25.A charge of operating a vehicle without registration was dismissed after proof was provided.
* Stephanie Nicole Miller, 2113 Madison Ave., Apt. 2, Huntington, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $195.25. She was ordered to pay a $434.26 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.
* Grant C. Miller, 56 Alexander Dr., Williamstown, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $175.25. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed after proof was provided.
* Brandy Marie Dye, 1088 Newark Road, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $180.25. She was ordered to pay a $129.26 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.
* Kamya Monay Murphy, 2331 Prince Hall Dr., Detroit, Mich., pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $195.25. She was ordered to pay a $192 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna. A charge of obstruction was dismissed, per a plea agreement. A preliminary hearing was waived on two counts of counterfeiting. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Justin Tyler Johnson, 413 8th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of entry of a building other than dwelling, entry of railroad, traction, or motorcar, steamboat or vessel. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Lawrence Martin Brown, 914 7th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fleeing, fined $170.25 and sentenced to 15 days in jail which was ruled as time served.
* Chance Edward Kelley, 1800 Rayon Dr., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of manufacture/deliver/possess with intent to manufacture/deliver a Schedule I or II Narcotic and conspiracy. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Deanna Marie Bunner, 902 Lincoln Dr., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, fined $270.25 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. She was also ordered to seek counseling. She had a charge of third-offense shoplifting penalties dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Dana Russell Broyles, 344 A Murphytown Circle, Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $2,000 bond.
* Ryan Lee Smith, 2400 Belmont Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance, fleeing, obstructions and a capas warrant for obstructions and released on $3,000 bond.
* Graham Elliott Godwin, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of domestic battery and released on $2,000 bond.
* Michael Frederick Ball, 2906 29th St., Apt. 2, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.
* Mary Jane Ball, 2906 29th St. Apt. 2, Parkersburg, was arraigned on three counts of shoplifting and released on $750 bond.
* Sandra Marie Williams-Parlin, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of domestic assault and released on $500 bond.
* Dustin Wayne Sharp, 1903 19th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of DUI and released on $500 bond.
* Kimberly Lynn Lantz, 4711 Seventh Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of DUI while in an impaired state with a BAC of less than .150 and released on $500 bond.
* Michelle Renee Peters, 701 Walnut Rd., Charleston, was arraigned on a charge of driving on a revoked license for DUI and released on $1,500 bond.
* Brianna Lynn Salyers, 1708 Staunton Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.
* James Thomas Childress, 1000 Kemper St., Apt. 5, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense failure to register as a sex offender and released on $5,000 bond.
* Christopher Paul Lovelace, 1102 Broadway Ave., Apt. C, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting and third-offense shoplifting and held on $1,500 bond.
* Jeremiah Lee Dillon, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of violation of a protective order and released on $3,000 bond.
* Ginger Dee Cunningham, 701 Race St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance and no seatbelt and released on $500 bond.
* Diamante Demetrius Thompson, 810 Virginia Ave. Apt. 1, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.
* Xander Evan Herrington, 276 Wilderness Valley Rd., Davisville, was arraigned on charges of speeding (120 mph in a 70 mph zone) and reckless driving and released on $1,000 bond.
* Glen Paul Siegrist, 2630 Dudley Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.
