Tyler County woman among new West Virginia COVID deaths

CHARLESTON — A Tyler County woman was among the six people who have died from the COVID-19 coronavirus in the last week in West Virginia, the Department of Health and Human Resources said on Wednesday.

The six deaths raise the total of COVID-related fatalities to 8,155 residents since the pandemic started more than three years ago.

Deaths confirmed were a 90-year-old man from Berkeley County, a 92-year-old man from Upshur County, an 85-year-old man from Ohio County, an 81-year-old man from Lincoln County, an 82-year-old woman from Tyler County and an 82-year-old man from Marshall County.
